The sad truth…
Fox News host Shannon Bream revealed the pathetic reason the network can’t seem to book a Democrat guest…nobody wants to defend President Joe Biden.
President Biden’s disastrous debate performance still has Democrats reeling and according to the Fox News host, nobody is willing to speak on Biden’s decision to stay in the race.
“Now, before we get to our guests, I want you, the viewers at home, to know something,” Bream said. “Our team has spent days reaching out to dozens of lawmakers and Biden advocates and allies. We’ve had numerous interactions with the Biden-Harris campaign. But not a single potential guest was either able or willing to join us on today’s show to defend the president and his decision to stay on the ticket. So, we will be having a conversation without that voice, which we have been working around the clock to avoid.”

Bream was later joined by former Democrat Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, who told the Fox News host there will be “a lot more” Biden resistance in the week ahead, as well as Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds.
On Friday, Biden insisted in a pre-recorded interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos that he is “still in good shape” and attributed his poor debate performance to a “bad night.” The Democratic president claimed he would only drop out of the 2024 race if the “Lord Almighty” told him to.
Last week, Texas Democrat Rep. Lloyd Doggett became the first sitting Member of Congress to publicly encourage Biden to step down.
Last Monday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (D) seemed to signal support for the idea of Biden stepping away from the race and seemed to promote himself as an alternative candidate.
Democrat Virginia Sen. Mark Warner is reportedly gathering a group of Democratic senators to pressure Biden into ending his 2024 candidacy.
On Monday, President Biden directly responded to recent calls to step down in a letter to Congressional Democrats.
“I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump,” the president wrote in the letter.
This morning, I sent a letter to my fellow Democrats on Capitol Hill. In it, I shared my thoughts about this moment in our campaign.
