“Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade had an interesting stance when critiquing President Biden's press conference performance, labeling it the “worst possible outcome” for Democrats hoping to move past their aging nominee.
Kilmeade argued that the press conference wasn't a completely flop, which complicates matters for the growing anti-Biden faction within the party. Despite the typical Joe Biden mess ups that voters have grown used to, Kilmeade argued that Biden's performance has trapped Democrats in a political quagmire.
Leading up to the Friday segment, co-host Steve Doocy pointed out that Biden's numerous debate errors had lowered expectations so much that even his liberal critics might overlook relatively minor slip-ups or leave them stuck in a political limbo.
“Get out the popcorn and watch it last night. It was just… and so today we're the post-game show. A lot of Democrats who want him to go wanted him to really blow it,” Doocy said.
He added that while Biden made several mistakes, he did just enough to keep his presidency afloat “because the bar is so low.”
At this point, Kilmeade chimed in: “I think he did fine. I thought he did fine.”
“Typical Joe Biden”
Kilmeade continued: “I'm telling you, if this was just a press conference, we would have said: ‘Oh, look, he made two mistakes. Alright.' But this is the worst possible scenario for Democrats. Because he didn't blow, he wasn't clueless, there were no freezing moments,” he remarked as Doocy chuckled.

Kimmel acknowledged that Biden mistakenly said Donald Trump was vice president last and recalled past blunders, such as calling for a dead congresswoman to stand and telling someone their spouse was dead when they were alive. However, he claimed that the public has come to expect those moments.
Political Implications
He continued: “This is the worst scenario. He says: ‘Hey, this is my view on NATO. This is my view on Afghanistan. This is my view on when I'm going to come back and win. I get up. When I get down, I stand back up again.' To me, this is — he thinks he's fine, he's not going anywhere, his family doesn't want him to go anywhere. [Democrats] are going to have to find leverage or extortion to kick him out.”
