Elon Musk has announced that he will move the headquarters of X and SpaceX from California to Texas. This decision was made in response to a new law in California that protects transgender children. The law prohibits school districts from outing transgender students to their parents without the student's consent.
Musk expressed his dissatisfaction with the law on X (formerly Twitter), stating that it was the “final straw” and that the law, along with others, was “attacking both families and companies.” He specifically mentioned that SpaceX will move its headquarters from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas, and that X will move its headquarters from San Francisco to Austin, Texas.
Musk also mentioned that he had previously made it clear to Governor Newsom that laws of this nature would force families and companies to leave California to protect their children.
It's worth noting that this is not the first time Musk has taken issue with California's policies. In 2020, he moved Tesla's headquarters from Palo Alto to Austin, Texas, in response to California's coronavirus lockdowns.

God bless you Elon. I hope every professed Christian and conservative American learns from the example your setting. We cannot just wish away the liberal ideology that is spreading like cancer throughout our country and the world. We cannot depend on our government, their a big part of the problem. It’s time we ALL individually and collectively stand up and do what we can to stop this. We need to be as united and diligent in defending the Godly principles the USA was founded on as liberals are in spreading their perverse agendas or we will lose the America we grew up in and love! Remember in November, every legal vote counts!
.
