Former President and current Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump never shies away from making headlines. After surviving a recent assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, he's made a jaw-dropping revelation about his dying wish.
Trump's Bold Declaration
In a fiery statement on Truth Social, Trump didn't mince words. Sharing a clip of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he declared:
“If they do assassinate President Trump, which is always a possibility, I hope that America obliterates Iran, wipes it off the face of the Earth. If that does not happen, American leaders will be considered ‘gutless' cowards!”
The Assassination Attempt
CNN confirmed that U.S. authorities had unearthed an Iranian plot to assassinate Trump. Later, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to take Trump's life, prompting the Secret Service to increase security measures.
A national security official spilled the details to CNN:
“NSC [National Security Council] directly contacted USSS [United States Secret Service] at a senior level to be absolutely sure they continued to track the latest reporting. USSS shared this information with the detail lead, and the Trump campaign was made aware of an evolving threat. In response to the increased threat, Secret Service surged resources and assets for the protection of former President Trump. All of this was in advance of Saturday.”
A History of Standing Tall
Trump's tough stance against Iran is nothing new. Remember when he tore up the so-called Iran nuclear deal and took out Qasem Soleimani, the notorious general of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force? That's Trump in action.
White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby recently provided more context on America's soft war with Iran, revealing that Tehran is conducting an influence campaign as the Israel-Hamas war continues:
“We do know that Iran has been funding and encouraging some of the protest activity here in the United States.”
In May, Shiraz University in Iran announced it would offer scholarships to students from universities in the United States and Europe who have been expelled due to their participation in the ongoing student protests connected to the Israel-Hamas war.

Very simple question that the FBI avoids. “HOW DID THE SHOOTER KNOW THAT THE AGR BUILDING WOULD NOT BE GUARDED”.
Someone who knew had to tell him. USSS!
Absolutely correct!
