CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — A man possessing a concealed-carry license who fatally shot 32-year-old Intrinsic Schools Assistant Principal Abnerd Joseph, is not currently facing any charges, as per police statements. The 45-year-old shooter’s identity remains undisclosed. The incident, which took place in a high-rise building last Thursday night, resulted in Joseph sustaining multiple gunshot wounds and later succumbing to his injuries at Northwestern Hospital.
Before the shooting, a verbal disagreement transpired between the two individuals, though the police have not disclosed any further details regarding the nature or cause of this altercation. Despite being interrogated on the night of the incident, the shooter was subsequently released, and investigations into the incident continue.
In the wake of the event, Joseph’s family arrived in Chicago to formally identify his body. Community activist Andrew Holmes, assisting the family during this time, highlighted the immense grief experienced by Joseph’s brothers.
As a mark of respect and mourning, classes at Intrinsic High School were suspended on Friday, as informed by a parent to ABC 7.

I understand the high need for news organizations to scoop everybody with sensational stories….but, for God’s sake, if you don’t have any more information than what you published in the article…..let it slide for a few hours, or even a day, until you do.
