MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE — Memphis police arrested Caderius Bailey on October 11 after discovering drugs and stolen firearms in a black Kia Forte with temporary Tennessee license plates at the Applebee's parking lot on Union Avenue. Bailey faces charges including possessing a firearm during a dangerous felony, theft of property exceeding $2,500, possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute fentanyl and marijuana, as well as possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute meth and fentanyl.

Officers stopped the vehicle due to a strong marijuana odor and asked Bailey to exit the car. During the search, they found a stolen black Glock 17 9mm in his waistband and a bag of suspected marijuana in his jacket. A subsequent inspection of the car led to the discovery of multiple bags containing marijuana, meth, and two fentanyl pills. The recovered firearm was reported stolen from Cabela's Sporting Goods in Southaven, and a total of 161 other stolen weapons were also found.

Additionally, the front passenger had a revoked driver's license and stated that she had picked Bailey up from his grandmother's house, where he had a red backpack in his possession, and they had headed to Applebee's.
