Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez erupted at a Fox News producer outside the Capitol this week after being invited to appear on Jesse Watters Primetime, accusing the show’s host of sexual harassment and labeling him a “pervert.” The tense exchange was caught on video and quickly went viral.
Johnny Belisario, a producer for the Fox News program, approached Ocasio-Cortez to ask if she would join Watters on the show. Instead, the Bronx Democrat shut the invitation down on the spot.
“He has sexualized and harassed me on his show,” Ocasio-Cortez said, accusing Watters of using what she called “horrific, sexually exploitative rhetoric.”
When Belisario pushed back, Ocasio-Cortez doubled down, pointing to comments Watters made last fall suggesting she wanted to “sleep with Stephen Miller.” She then challenged the producer over what she described as acceptable language about women before ending the conversation and walking away.
Watters’ remarks came in October, following a separate clash between Ocasio-Cortez and Miller, during which the congresswoman mocked the Trump official and his height.
Afterward, Watters praised Miller as a “sexual matador,” giving the senior White House adviser an opening to offer what he described as “advice for any young man out there.”
Miller acknowledged that before he got married and had children, he was “on the market” — and argued that openly backing President Trump is the best way for young men to stand out, especially during election season.
If you’re a young man looking to impress women, “it’s very important in an election season — who’s looking to impress ladies, to be the alpha, to be attractive, the best thing you can do is to wear your Trump support on your sleeve. Show that you are a real man. Show that you are not a beta, right? Be a proud and loud Trump supporter, and your dating life will be fantastic,” Miller said, urging men to project confidence.
Watters leaned into the moment, telling viewers he “cannot wait to see the texts tonight,” before thanking Miller and adding, “Take it easy on the ladies.”
