Riley June Williams will have the next three years to contemplate her life choices.
If federal prosecutors had gotten their way, the Nick Fuentes fangirl would have received seven years behind bars for breaching the U.S. Capitol Building during a chaotic riot when a joint session was Congress was supposed to be certifying the 2020 Electoral College vote.
The government argued that Williams, then 22, aided and abetted the theft of Nancy Pelosi’s laptop after she entered the California Democrat’s office with other rioters.
A jury convicted Williams on six counts but was deadlocked on the charge of “aiding and abetting” in the laptop’s theft.
They also deadlocked on the charge of “obstructing an official proceeding,” a violation supporters say lends credence to the argument that what happened that day was an insurrection.

U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson sentenced Riley Williams to three years in prison for her role in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.
Jackson said of Williams, “She was there to stop the election, not because her dizzy little head was confused about which building in Washington was which or why she was there.”
The federal judge accused Williams of “hand-picking the people who had the proper gear” to be a frontline offense against police. Jackson said Williams was “not just a little waif blowing in the wind.”
Before being sentenced, Williams apologized, “I was disrespectful, hateful … toward innocent people who didn’t deserve it.” Williams – who was 22 years old at the time – confessed that she was a “stupid girl” during the Capitol riot but is now a “responsible woman” who accepts her guilt. She blamed a lifelong internet addiction for fueling her actions, but has since “found peace in a quiet life.”
Her defense attorney argued that she was susceptible to the influence of powerful figures like then-President Donald Trump.
