A federal criminal complaint has charged Jeffrey Dorsey, a 60-year-old resident of Dayton, Ohio, with making violent threats against Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), after Jordan backed a GOP budget reported by left-wing sources to purportedly include wide-reaching reductions to Medicaid, potentially resulting in 10 million fewer Americans enrolled by 2034.
However, President Trump has repeatedly made clear: there will be no cuts to Medicaid.
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act aims to protect and strengthen Medicaid for those who depend on it — including pregnant women, children, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income families.
The law targets waste, fraud, and abuse by removing ineligible recipients, such as illegal immigrants, and by enforcing work requirements. Supporters argue that the reforms ensure Medicaid remains sustainable and reserved for the truly vulnerable.
The confusion may have played a role in Dorsey’s violent voicemail, during which he allegedly called Jordan “a dead f***.”
“If you vote to take my f**king Medicaid away, I’m gonna cut your f**king head off,” his tirade continued unabated.
A press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio further outlines the charges:
Making interstate communications with a threat to injure is a federal crime punishable by up to five years in prison.
“The FBI takes all threats seriously,” stated FBI Cincinnati Special Agent in Charge Elena Iatarola. “Threats to harm others, including public officials, will never be tolerated.”
Kelly A. Norris, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, and Elena Iatarola, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Cincinnati Division, announced the charges. Assistant United States Attorney Ryan A. Saunders is representing the United States in this case.
A detention hearing for Dorsey is scheduled later this week.
As of this article’s publication, Jordan and his office have not issued a public statement regarding the incident.

We can’t open up more of those mental facilities President Trump mentioned fast enough. We read almost daily how these mentally diseased people need to be separated from the others they want to harm.
