During Monday's “,” pooh-poohed the idea of impeaching President .

With an impeachment inquiry vote scheduled for later this week, Doocy played the spoiler to his enthusiastic co-hosts, arguing that Republicans leading the charge haven't been able to “connect the dots” between Hunter Biden's alleged criminal activity and his father.

A poll from September appeared on-screen during the segment, showing that most Americans believed the president knew and was involved in his son's business dealings.

Ainsley Earhardt, and  were all willing participants in the segment, which strongly suggested that Hunter Biden's recent indictments show some sort of shady activity that has to criminally involve his father, given reported phone calls and dinners Joe Biden attended with his son and business associates. “Now, here's the other , and that is the Republicans are threatening contempt of if Hunter does not show up for a closed-door deposition,” he added. “Ultimately, on this show, we've been calling for Hunter to go and sit in a chair on Capitol Hill in front of the TV cameras for the last year. According to Hunter Biden's team, they don't want to do it because of leaks and stuff like that.”

Following the most recent indictment for allegedly failing to pay $1.4 million in , Hunter Biden faces a total of nine criminal charges, including three felonies.
