Anti-Israel Protests Gain Momentum, Spread To Golden Gate Bridge And Other Locations

ANALYSIS – It just goes on and on and gets worse and worse. Following their recent “death to America,” and “death to Israel” rally in Dearborn, Michigan, the Hamas terror-loving, anti-Israeli mob in the U.S. is now targeting a major international airport and major American aerospace company. On Monday, anti-Israel protesters blocked an access road to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, creating a huge backup of vehicles on the highway and forcing travelers to get out of cars and walk to the terminals.

NBC Chicago reported that: “Travelers heading to Chicago O’Hare Airport Monday morning were forced to walk from the freeway to the terminal with their luggage in tow as a protest blocked lanes and caused heavy traffic and backups on the Kennedy Expressway (I-190).” (RELATED: Anti-Israel Protesters Effectively Shut Down Chicago’s O’Hare Airport)

The airport is one of the world’s busiest hubs, serving about 83 million people per year.

Many protesters were seen wearing the latest in “radical chic” garb, the checkered Palestinian keffiyeh scarves. They were also carrying signs reading “Free Palestine” and “Stop Genocide.”

The folks behind the disruptive stunt, “Chicago Dissenters,” claimed that their message was to Boeing because the company which makes airliners also sells weapons to Israel.

This is about as logical as a screen door on a submarine.

The organizers also claimed they were protesting on April 15 because it’s tax day and taxes paid by Americans are funding Israel’s military in Gaza. The group wrote in an Instagram post:

On this Tax Day, when millions are paying taxes which fund the ongoing US and Israeli bombardment of Gaza, protestors seek to take dramatic action. O’Hare International Airport is one of the largest in the country, and there will be NO business as usual while Palestinians suffer at the hands of American funded bombing by Israel.

Videos taken onsite and posted online showed the protesters sitting in the middle of Interstate 190 arm-in-arm using long tubes to prevent cars from reaching the airport.

One user on X posted: “send them to Gaza, they are close enough to the airport.”

But the pro-Hamas mob wasn’t content with just screwing up travel for many at O’Hare.

As the New York Post reported:

Elsewhere, anti-Israel activists blocked all the northbound and southbound lanes on San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge to demand the end of US support of Israel’s war.

Videos showed protesters unfurl a huge banner across the world-famous span that read: “Stop the world for Gaza.”

The outlet added:

Barrels linked with chains were placed in the road and protesters sat in lawn chairs with arms linked to thwart the flow of traffic.

California Highway Patrol and Oakland police officers in riot gear responded to the scene to clear the demonstrators.

Meanwhile, last week, The Jerusalem Post reported that leftist pro-Hamas protesters crashed a dinner at uber-liberal Berkeley University Law School:

A dinner for first-year Berkeley law students at Dean Erwin Chemerinsky’s home was disrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters last Tuesday, the Jewish professor said in a statement on Wednesday.

During the annual event in the Dean’s backyard, Palestinian Muslim student Malak Afaneh began a speech about the “plight of the Palestinians.”

“My wife and I immediately approached her and asked her to stop and leave. The woman continued. When she continued her speech, there was an attempt to take away her microphone. Repeatedly, we said to her, that you are a guest in our home, please stop and leave. Our home is not a forum for free speech,” said Chemerinsky.

“The dinner, which was meant to celebrate graduating students, was obviously disrupted and disturbed. I am enormously sad that we have students who are so rude as to come into my home, in my backyard, and use this social occasion for their political agenda.”

Of course, the crashers claimed that the professor’s wife assaulted their female protester when she tried to take her microphone away and told her to leave her home.

Well, that’s what you get for being so “inclusive” and “tolerant,” professor. Rest assured; things will only get worse if you coddle these future terrorists.
