Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

CHINA THREAT

HERE WE GO AGAIN – Biden tells 60 Minutes US troops would defend Taiwan, but White House says this is not official US policy. Last Thursday, the same day 60 Minutes spoke to President Joe Biden, Vladimir Putin met with China’s leader, Xi Jinping. There’s concern that Russia’s war in Ukraine could inspire China to attack the island of Taiwan. U.S. policy since 1979 has been to recognize Taiwan as part of China but remains silent on whether the U.S. military would defend the democratic government there.

Pentagon pushes defense companies to limit use of Chinese supplies. Finding China-made alloys in F-35 jets has put U.S. officials on alert as they seek to limit vulnerabilities.

Lawmakers want to increase military training for Taiwan as tensions with China intensify. U.S. military training for Taiwan could be stepped up under a proposal making its way through Congress.

‘HE IS SERIOUS’ – President Biden warns Vladimir Putin not to use nuclear weapons: “Don’t. Don’t. Don’t.” The Biden administration has announced another $600 million in military aid to help the Ukrainian army maintain momentum against Russia. In an interview for this Sunday’s “60 Minutes,” Scott Pelley spoke with President Biden about Ukraine’s recent battlefield success — and the dangers that could bring.

If it comes from China, take it all away. Got enough China s— in our country than we ever needed.

Why is banning TikTok from gov’t devices and locations even a question? It is widely known to be controlled by the CCP. It shouldn’t be allowed to be used in any US Government property/facility or on any device owned by or used by any gov’t agency or employee. Let’s stop giving our enemies everything they could possibly want or exploit without their even needing to fight for it. It almost looks like the Biden administration is TRYING to get us invaded/taken over without a single shot being fired.

How many of our electronic hardware or software are manufactured, assembled and tested…GUESS WHERE? In China. For decades now, most everything in USA is made under the watchful eyes of the CCP. When Tricky Dickie Nixon normalized relations and commerce with Communist China, it may have initiated our downfall. The message is: TikTok is but the most visible tip of a monstrous iceberg.
