Give Back This Christmas to Those Who Gave Everything

-

We often call Christmas a magical time of year. But, for many, it's filled with uncertainty and stress.

One group goes overlooked every year, relying on support from caregivers, advocates and people like you: the children of service members.

Military deployments affect every family member, not only those who return from battlefields scarred and broken.

To the casual observer, the children of service members bear their burden with stoicism unusual for their age. That's not the reality. Children experience the same range of emotions adults do. And feelings of loneliness and despair are common, especially at Christmastime when many of us compare ourselves to others.

But that doesn't mean these children are alone. Or that there won't be presents under the tree. Right now, you can still show you care.

The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes, a top-rated non-profit, is working overtime through Christmas morning to ensure families of wounded soldiers ravaged by exorbitant medical bills have something magical to give their children: unadulterated joy. Make the hopeful anticipation these children feel at this moment become a reality on Christmas Day. It's not too late.

Not much is worse than telling a child that Santa isn't coming this year. In an instance, the whimsical daydreams of a radiant Christmas morning disappear. Fortunately, your donation can keep that magic alive for a child in need.

YOU Can Save Christmas for Children of Wounded Veterans

Two decades of military deployments and tens of thousands of casualties in the Global War on Terror have left many American families who risked everything for us struggling. They deserve so much better. It's no exaggeration to say the men and women of the United States Armed Forces represent the best of us.

It's of the utmost importance to show them the true spirit of Christmas is alive. Please share a Christmas miracle with a family in need. This Christmas, you can be the hero to those that have served heroically.
