McAuliffe Will Repeal Right-to-Work

Political outsider, successful leader and Republican nominee for governor 's campaign spokeswoman Macaulay Porter released the following statement in response to 's latest statements about Virginia's cherished law.

“After apparently emerging from a smoke-filled backroom, Terry McAuliffe acquired an endorsement from a Richmond-based lobbying group after lying about his intent to repeal right-to-work. (RELATED: Youngkin, Republican Slate Receive New Endorsement)

“The VTCA is just the most recent victim to fall prey to Terry McAuliffe's lies about his position on right-to-work, and Virginians shouldn't be fooled. McAuliffe will immediately repeal right-to-work here in Virginia like he promised to do this year when he said, ‘sure, I'd sign [a bill repealing right-to-work].' Every business knows that this would cripple the Commonwealth's .

“Glenn Youngkin will increase investment in our roads and highways as part of his Day One Game Plan, yet McAuliffe doesn't even have a plan for roads and bridges in the 130-pages of failed policies that he recycled from past campaigns. Instead, he's based his entire campaign on defunding police, raising on families by $5,400 and telling parents to sit down and shut up when it comes to their children's .
