Mexico’s Socialist President Extorts Biden Over Illegal Migration

Admitting that he has the power to regulate the flow of illegal migrants surging through Mexico to the United States, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) recently threatened that the “flow” of illegals “will continue” unless Biden agrees to his demands.

And those demands are whoppers.

During a recent “60 Minutes” episode, the Mexican leader essentially said he wants to dictate U.S. immigration policy as well as force the U.S. to give billions of dollars to Latin American governments (much of which, I would add, would be syphoned off to corrupt oligarchs or criminal gangs and narcos). He also demanded that the U.S. remove sanctions on the vicious socialist regime in Venezuela, end the embargo of the decrepit communist Cuba and grant work visas to millions of illegals inside the U.S.

This is outrageous, and the fact that Team Biden didn’t reject and denounce that nonsense right aways, shows that they may be considering making the concessions and payoffs.

Asked by CBS News reporter Sharyn Alfonsi whether his country plans to “slow down migration,” the Mexican president said, “We do and want to continue doing it, but we do want for the root causes to be attended to, for them to be seriously looked at.”

According to American Military News:

López Obrador told Alfonsi that the reason the number of illegal immigrant crossings decreased between December and January was because Mexico was “more careful” about its own southern border. The Mexican president said his administration “spoke with the presidents of Central America, with the president of Venezuela and with the president of Cuba.”

“We asked them for help in curbing the flow of migrants,” he said. “However, that is a short-term solution, not a long-term one.”

Asked what would happen if the Biden administration did not agree to his list of demands, the Mexican president warned, “The flow of migrants … will continue.”

So, here we have it. The socialist president is colluding with the corrupt socialist leaders of Cuba and Venezuela as well as the corrupt leaders of the Central American countries to blackmail the United States. (RELATED: Prelude To War – Socialist Venezuela Claims Two-Thirds Of Oil-Rich Guyana)

The outlet continued: “In response to the Mexican president’s threat, Alfonsi said that critics of the Mexican president have accused López Obrador of engaging in “diplomatic blackmail” by refusing to address the illegal immigration crisis unless his demands are met.”

“I am speaking frankly,” López Obrador told Alfonsi. “We have to say things as they are.”

Meanwhile on the CBS News X account, one user named Steve@SteveLovesAmmo, also reponded frankly: 

“How about we just build the wall, arm it with soldiers and tell them to f*ck off?”
