  1. Why do these liberal outlets announce this type of information? All they are doing is giving our enemies a window to see our defense weaknesses. In the old America, releasing that type information could be providing aid and comfort to our enemies, and that is a crime. Of course now days the left wing liberals don’t worry about that because they are working towards the destruction of our constitutional republic ,and replacing it with their version of a socialist government.

  2. Many years ago I served in a U.S. Navy ship that operated exclusively in restricted enemy waters. We had a REAL Navy then. Now, it seems that we have a social organization. Not only the Navy but all the rest. Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and Coast Guard. In Navy boots we had it pretty easy but in the MCRD next door In San Diego, the Marines had it pretty tough and when they graduated they hated their D.I. with a passion but respected that mean S.O.B. We felt the same to a lessor degree. That’s the way it should be since we were all being trained to do very unpleasant jobs under very unpleasant conditions. Now from reports I’ve seen, the D.I. in the Marine Corps is like a friendly old uncle. He should still be the mean S.O.B. his recruits despise but respect. Though I don’t know about the Army or Air Force, I’d imagine it should be the same. Coast Guard becomes part of the Navy during time of war and should be trained in the same manner. In closing I’d like to know if anyone can even recall the last time we heard of any of our Armed Services having maneuvers of any kind. In peacetime they should ALL be getting ready for war. Having had an up close and personal look at war I can personally tell anyone how terrible it actually is. Our young people who have the guts to face the unknown and enlist should know. They deserve it and I personally feel they’re better than that. Patriotism was in vogue during my teen age years. As terrible and unhappy is it might be that should still be the case. In later years , the same as I, they’d no doubt take a great deal of pride in their accomplishment. They could very well do a much batter job that we of my generation did. They might even WIN THE VERY IMPORTANT PEACE. Please don’t understand. I’d serve but I’m could but I’m a stove up old man and would be a definite liability.
