Media silent. For those who might have missed it (because the liberal media didn’t deem it newsworthy), a bizarre death cult composed of transgender vegans—and at least one foreign national (I am not making this up) is implicated in the tragic shooting death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Vermont last month.
While the border agent’s murder received some news coverage, the makeup of the killers was omitted or downplayed. And considering that the killers appear to be part of a radical left-wing online lunatic group called the “Zizians,” it’s no wonder why.
The murder also occurred on President Trump’s Inauguration Day, Jan. 20.
The cult is reportedly an offshoot of the Rationalist movement and is made up of so-called “genius” transgender students who studied artificial intelligence and computer science. They are named for a 34-year-old computer engineer and transgender leader, Jack Amadeus LaSota, who goes by the nickname “Ziz.”
LaSota reportedly faked his death to avoid law enforcement but was subsequently arrested on minor charges and released on bail, which he skipped on.
According to one person close to members of the group, LaSota is recruiting transgender members who might be financially vulnerable and ripe for radicalization, but most of the members are voluntarily joining the group.
Starting in 2021, LaSota reportedly advocated the killing of various people with petty authority, like landlords, and the punishment of “non-good” people, like non-vegans.
Members of the “Ziz” group, known to live in communes in box trucks, are now linked to at least four murders across the United States.
The New York Post reported that a week before the Jan. 20 murder, federal agents had been surveilling German national and trans Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt who was reportedly here on an H1-B visa, and University of Washington student Teresa “Milo” Consuelo Youngblut.
Bauckholt was a biological male who identified as trans and used feminine pronouns. He was an award-winning youth math genius.
On Inauguration Day, Border Patrol Agent and Air Force veteran David Maland and his colleagues stopped the suspects’ car in Coventry, Vermont and Youngblut allegedly shot at Maland, who was killed, while other border agents returned fire, killing Bauckholt who was pointing his weapon at the officers.
Youngblut, who was wounded, is in custody.
Investigators found two pistols, magazines, night-vision goggles, two full-face respirators, a ballistic helmet, 48 rounds of hollow-point ammunition, shooting targets, two-way radios and a dozen electronic devices, some of which were wrapped in foil.
Youngblut is a biological female who identifies as trans and lists having neo-pronouns as “xe/xem/xyrs” on social media. Youngblut was a University of Washington student studying computer science.
She graduated from the prestigious and woke north Seattle private institution Lakeside School, which Bill Gates also attended.
Youngblut’s social media account on BlueSky shows she followed some Antifa-aligned far-left accounts.
In November 2024, Youngblut filed a marriage application with a 22-year-old fellow Lakeside alumnus named Maximilian Bentley Snyder.
Snyder, an “any pronouns” computer science whiz kid from a wealthy Seattle family, was recently arrested in California for the murder of Curtis Lind, an elderly man three days earlier who was a key witness in an upcoming attempted murder trial of other members of the trans extremist group.
Lind had been the landlord for some of the cult members at one point and was maimed by the group though Lind killed one of his attackers in self-defense.
His arrest has revealed previously hidden associations between Youngblut, Bauckholt and the leftist trans cult.
The murders of Lind and Border agent Maland come two years after Richard and Rita Zajko, the parents of “Michelle Jacqueline” Zajko—their biological male trans nonbinary adult child, were found dead in their Delaware County, Pennsylvania, home in January 2023.
Police say the gun Youngblut used in the border patrol murder was bought by Zajko, who is now a person of interest, but not yet charged with any crimes.

In a statement shared with Newsweek, the FBI said, “As stated in open court and in court filings, Teresa Youngblut is believed to have associations with other individuals suspected of violent acts in multiple states, to include Pennsylvania and California.”
“The FBI is coordinating information sharing on any case related details with our partners from various law enforcement agencies to effectively follow every lead and aggressively investigate these connections,” the FBI said.
Leftist trans activists online are pressuring people not to talk to authorities or journalists while cheering the killings. Meanwhile, the media remains eerily silent.
