The House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a war powers resolution aimed at ending unauthorized U.S. military involvement in Iran, marking the most significant congressional challenge yet to President Donald Trump’s handling of the conflict.

The measure, sponsored by Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) invokes the 1973 War Powers Resolution and would require the administration to obtain explicit authorization from Congress before continuing hostilities against Iran, except in cases involving an imminent threat to the United States. The vote followed months of growing bipartisan concern over a conflict that began in.

PAUL’S DEFENSE BRIEF (PDB) – Space Command has defined five factors it believes will be key to victory should it ever need to fight a full-fledged war in space.

Space Force to revamp preparations for a new era of space conflict, expanding training and testing technologies with more than a half billion dollars toward the effort in a few years.

Time for Space Force to ‘clearly say’ it needs ‘weapons in space,’ says the head of US Space Command, deliberately calling for their deployment.

Space Command’s top officer said his team is leaning hard into experimentation for fielding capabilities that address its highest priority missions, including missile threat tracking, command and control and domain awareness.

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), which has conducted eight launches since last year, is planning two back-to-back satellite launches in April.

Space Force’s Systems Command has assigned the first nine National Security Space Launch (NSSL) missions, with SpaceX capturing seven launches and United Launch Alliance (ULA) securing two missions.

Space Force unveiled a new program, called Orbital Watch, designed to share unclassified information about orbital threats with more than 900 commercial operators.

The US space industry is several years away from having the capacity for continuous satellite production, but it’s working hard on it.

Space firm Astroscale US will refuel two Space Force spacecraft in geostationary orbit on a mission scheduled for 2026.

Space Systems Command is navigating change. Satellites are smaller, launches are more frequent, capabilities are more advanced, threats are more real.
