FBI Refuses To Hand Over Docs Linked To Alleged Biden Bribery Plot

-

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has refused to turn over subpoenaed documents related to House Committees' investigation into the Biden family's business dealings.

On Monday, the agency refused to provide the document in a private meeting with the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, according to Fox News. The unclassified FD-1023 document details criminal allegations of a pay-to-play scheme related to the Biden family's business dealings, according to a whistleblower who spoke with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-).

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) who chairs the Oversight Committee, issued the subpoena to the , which previously failed to provide the document by a May 10 deadline. Comer has threatened to hold the FBI's budget “hostage” until the agency turns over the document.

“They don't respect anyone in ,” Comer said Monday on Fox News. “They've been able to get away with this for a long time. The continues to turn a blind eye. The Senate Republicans continue to fund the FBI. Why would you change your business model when you're getting everything you want?”

The FBI's holdout comes after last week Comer admitted to “losing track” of his star witness. (RELATED: Comer Loses Track Of Biden Informant)

“We're hopeful that the informant is still there,” Comer told Fox News' Mario Bartiromo. “The whistleblower knows the informant; the whistleblower is very credible.”

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said he had a recent call with FBI Director Christopher Wray and is optimistic the agency will eventually turn over the document.

“I explained to the director that we will do everything in our power, and we have the jurisdiction over the FBI, and we have the right to see this document,” McCarthy said Sunday on Fox News. “I believe after this call, we will get this document.”

On Monday, Comer revealed he has spoken with McCarthy about potentially holding Wray under contempt if he does not comply.

  1. So, these investigations continue. So, what happens when the FBI, DOJ fail to comply? Will Johnson, Grassley, Comer, Jordan use the full force of the law to get answers?? I truly hope so.

  2. This agency is so corrupt it cannot be saved. It’s time to abolish the FBI and turn federal investigations over to the Marshalls Service or some new agency. Agency heads should be held criminally responsible for corrupt leadership.

  3. You need to resume your meds and maybe use a double layer of foil on your special hat. Vlad, you need to pay more attention to the debacle your invaders are facing in the Ukraine. Many of them are running away leaving their ammo and weapons behind for the Ukes to kill new invading Orcs.

  4. Why would anyone expect the FBI to do their jobs when they are part and parcel to the democrat Marxist party? The only way to fix the deep state is to abolish the alphabet soup agencies!

  5. Pretty well tells us that an honest law abiding person wouldn’t be afraid of showing what he had on his computer. Of course if it had things that would be detrimental to others in power, that’s another story. I just keep thinking if this had been Don Trump, Jr, how the story would be different.

  6. when I worked in the government when the congress wanted something they got it within two weeks or else…

  7. So they refuse to obey a court order? Go in and take them by force and prosecute the FBI agents standing in the way. This falls under the aiding and abetting a criminal. This is a law on the books and like the Dems are quick to say, “no one is above the law”
