Investigators found threats, surveillance material, and a map of Ivanka Trump’s Florida neighborhood…
Ivanka Trump was allegedly targeted in an assassination plot by an Iran-linked terror operative seeking revenge for the 2020 U.S. drone strike that killed Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani, according to multiple reports.
Suspect Allegedly Targeted Ivanka Trump
The suspect — identified as 32-year-old Iraqi national Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi — allegedly pledged to kill Ivanka Trump and reportedly possessed a blueprint or map connected to her Florida residence shared with husband Jared Kushner and their three children.
Sources told the New York Post the alleged plot was framed as retaliation for Soleimani’s death in the U.S. drone strike ordered by President Donald Trump more than six years ago.
Federal Authorities Cite Broader Terror Links
Al-Saadi was arrested in Turkey on May 15 while allegedly traveling toward Russia and has since been extradited to the United States.
Federal authorities accuse him of involvement in at least 18 attacks or attempted attacks targeting American and Jewish sites across Europe and North America, including alleged synagogue bombings, arson attacks, stabbings, and shootings.

Investigators Point to Online Threats
Court filings and social media evidence cited in reports allegedly show Al-Saadi posted threats referencing Ivanka Trump’s neighborhood while warning Americans that “revenge is a matter of time.”
Investigators also allege the suspect maintained ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iraqi militia Kata’ib Hezbollah.
Analysts Cite Alleged Iranian Connections
Counterterrorism analyst Elizabeth Tsurkov told the Post that Al-Saadi allegedly maintained close relationships with senior Iranian-backed militia figures after Soleimani’s death, including Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani.
Former Iraqi diplomat Entifadh Qanbar further alleged that Al-Saadi viewed Soleimani as a father figure and had openly discussed retaliating against the Trump family for years.
