Police Frantically Search After Finding Missing TV Star’s Bloody Clothes

-

Police have redoubled their search for a missing Australian television star and his boyfriend.

Authorities are operating on the assumption that , a famous Australian TV presenter, was being stalked by a “cop ex-lover.” Relatives say Baird had a tumultuous break-up before vanishing. Unfortunately, some now fear the worst after investigators found blood-covered clothing last seen on Baird, 26, and his partner, 29-year-old Luke Davies.

It remains undetermined who the blood belongs to. However, a “large amount of blood,” including blood stained furniture, and signs of a struggle were observed at Baird's home in Paddington, a posh suburb of Sydney.

Detective Superintendent Jodi Radmore told reporters on Thursday that the sheer amount of blood at the scene suggested someone suffered a severe injury.

Baird and Davies were last seen on CCTV footage on Monday in Paddington.

Authorities also found a phone, keys, credit cards and a $8,000 watch in the same waste container hiding the pair's clothes.

Baird's ex, celebrity blogger turned Constable Beau Lamarre, is a “person of interest.” Lamarre, who was reportedly on sick leave at the time of Baird and Davies' disappearance, has not yet been located.

Neighbors reportedly hearing shouting coming from Baird's residence early Monday morning, but no one thought to report it to police until Wednesday.

Detectives have since began quizzing neighbors for any additional clues.

The Daily Mail continues:

Lamarre, who deleted his Instagram page on Sunday night, was revealed previously dated one of the couple. Luke's friends have told police that he recently expressed concerns that he was being stalked by another man.

Having previously rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kim KardashianSelena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus on the red carpet of the Golden Globes, Lamarre joined New South Wales‘ police force in 2019 to become a cop.

But just a year into his job, video emerged of the cop, whose mother is a former senior officer in the force, tasering a man in the face during a dramatic arrest that went viral, though he was later cleared of wrongdoing by an internal investigation.

Three cars belonging to the men have also been seized. Their bank accounts haven't been touched since the weekend.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the three men's whereabouts to come forward.
