Trump Urges SCOTUS To Intervene In Federal Trial

Former President has appealed directly to the , claiming legal immunity from prosecution in the Jan. 6th case.

On Feb. 6, a federal appeals court ruled that Trump is not immune from criminal prosecution for alleged crimes committed during his presidency.

Barring a different ruling from the Supreme Court, Trump still faces four criminal trials.

Trump is the first former U.S. president to face criminal charges.
