Woke DA Suspends Prosecutor for ‘Deadnaming’ Trans Child Molester and Murder Suspect

-

District Attorney has suspended one of his lead attorneys who prosecuted a transgender child molester accused of murder.

The prosecutor's offense? Deadnaming the trans female defendant.

Deadnaming is an act that refers to using the name a transgender person used before their gender transition.

The National Desk reports:

Hannah Tubbs, now in her late 20's, reportedly attempted to change her gender after becoming linked to a 2014 molestation of a 10-year-old in a Denny's bathroom a few weeks before she turned 18. Tubbs has been caught on jailhouse recordings gloating about her light sentence, which is the result of a Gascon initiative not to prosecute juveniles as adults.

According to Fox News, sources say Shea Sanna, the lead prosecutor in the case against Tubbs, was suspended by Gascon for five days without pay for “deadnaming” and “misgendering” the defendant by not using the correct female pronouns to identify Tubbs.

Tubbs was ultimately sent to a juvenile facility despite being a 26-year-old adult at the time of her sentencing. Tubbs is also now being accused of beating a man to death in a separate county.

Gascon has been subjected to intense criticism during his tenure, including from former L.A. County Sheriff .

“It's useless to catch criminals like [Tubbs] if we don't follow through and seek justice for victims such as the 10-year-old girl [she] sexually assaulted. She bears the burden of a lifetime of trauma,” Kathryn Barger, an L.A. County Supervisor, told The Los Angeles Times. “[Tubbs] will be offered therapeutic interventions under the auspices of ‘restorative justice' … and possibly granted only probation or parole. Where is the justice for [her] young victim and her family?”

  1. Well, LA, what now? You elected him – probably for no better reason than that he is a Democrat. The question now is this: Does being a Democrat trump (no pun intended) public safety and order? I ask this because Gascon was the candidate of the Democrat party. It would seem that the least you could do is find a Democrat who will not enable criminal behavior and will protect the public. That will mean going against the Democrat establishment unless they have a change of heart. It might even mean, gasp, voting for a candidate from another political party. If you continue to vote Gascon into office, you are not only part of the problem, you ARE the problem.
