Live Oak County in Texas has officially declared the U.S.-Mexico border crisis an invasion.
The resolution was passed unanimously by County Judge Jim Hoff and county commissioners Richard Lee, Donna Kopplin Mills, Mitchell Williams and Emilio Garza.
It makes Live Oak the 11th Texas county to declare an invasion since July 5. Just days ago, Tyler County and the Republican Party of Texas issued their own declarations. (RELATED: Texas Tightening: Despite Struggles, Democrats Growing Closer to Flipping Lone Star State)
More counties are expected to do so in the coming weeks.
As The Center Square reports:
The resolution declares a local disaster for the county “resulting from the imminent threat of disaster from the unprecedented levels of illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling across the U.S. border from Mexico.” The disaster declaration will continue until the judge determines otherwise.

Hoff determined that “the ongoing border crisis constitutes that of an invasion of Texas and that extraordinary measures must be taken to ensure the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of county residents.”
The latest declaration of invasion comes on the heels of a new report by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which estimates that 4.9 million migrants have crossed the border since President Joe Biden’s first day in office. FAIR President Dan Stein said that the report shows the numbers are roughly equivalent to the entire population of Ireland illegally entering the United States.

Additionally, Stein criticized the White House for blaming external factors on this unprecedented migrant surge, instead of the administration’s intent to “sabotage” America’s immigration laws.

Also, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection unit (CBP), police officials have encountered at least 150,000 migrant crossings for 17 straight months — and preliminary numbers suggest it’ll soon be 18 consecutive months.

All the illegal immigrants should go back to their countries and if they still want to come here do it legally like it so called has been done for decades. Our country is no longer the United States it it a free for all around the world to come in. This needs to stop immediately. Our government is wasting the American dollar while they keep getting richer and the middle class and poor keep getting poorer. Our president needs to take care of the people here in this country before our government takes care of anyone else.
I hate to called a hater but all ages should be sent back. We as a free country must be able to decide who comes by using legal channels just as my grandparents did. They had to meet the quoted number allowed from the country they came from.

Why is it that I stand in a long line for hours waiting to be processed after returning from an overseas trip. Why can’t I just waltz in undisturbed? I know the answer to this. I don’t know why the illegals do in fact just Waltz in.
No I believe each country’s government should deal with their problems and keep their people in check and not allow them to creep into the USA. More and more people are trying to burden Americans. People with no legs, blind, and pregnant women just want to depend on American taxes to support them. I don’t think any of these people deserve amnesty just because their country lets itself get run over by cartels and gangs.
I have worked with people that came in the legal way. Cost them thousands of dollars to be able to get cleared by Home Land Security,( unless it has changed that is how that department is paid I believe) I haven’t any complaints about the people that have done it the correct way. But it is not fair to them for having to pay while others just walk in.
More relevantly, it’s greater than the populations of 27 of the 50 US states. Unbelievable, but it needs to be understood by Americans.
I thought the illegal immigrants were numbered as the population of the entire city of New Orleans. I didn’t realize it was the entire population of Ireland. That’s even worse. Maybe we should send all the illegal aliens to Delaware. That would make sense. Delaware would get many more people to work for below minimum wage and the people in the southern states, Texas and Arizona primarily, would feel much safer. Many less drugs, gangs, diseases and human trafficking in our states and more in Biden’s state. A win-win in my opinion.
Every person that has come here illegally needs to be sent back to where ever they came from, and that means no matter how long they’ve been here, or how old they are, they need to go. What also needs to be changed is that when one of these illegals drops a kid that kid has no right to be a citizen. Citizenship needs to be reserved to those here legally and are in the process of becoming a citizen. Our country is becoming the dumping ground for the world’s poor. There is no way we can afford for that to continue.One way to start correcting this problem is to purge all the left wing liberal democrats from our government, and start with this November’s election.
