Biden Refuses Cognitive Exam He Desperately Needs

ANALYSIS – Despite the damning results of the recent report by his own Department of Justice (DOJ) noting Joe Biden’s poor memory and frailty, the White House defiantly stated he will not take a cognitive exam to prove he is fully competent to lead our nation.

This, as the vast majority of voters (86%) have said in polls that they feel that the 81-year-old Biden is too old to finish another term as president. (RELATED: Secret Service Intervenes As Biden Stumbles)

In the middle of the 2020 presidential race against Biden, Trump boasted about having “aced” a cognitive test – and hit Biden for not doing the same.

Meanwhile, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre thought she was defending Biden with her answer to the question about whether Biden would take a cognitive exam as part of his upcoming annual physical – but her remarks backfired and were ridiculed by many.

“I’m just going to say what Dr. O’Connor said to me about a year ago when [Biden’s physical] came out last year,” she responded, “which is the president proves every day how he operates, how he thinks – right? – by dealing with world leaders, by making really difficult decisions on behalf of the American people – whether it’s domestic, whether it’s national security.”

That certainly will not calm the nerves of voters who have witnessed Biden’s increasing gaffes and rapid mental decline in real time – every day since he was elected. To them, Biden is proving daily that he does not have the mental capabilities to do his job.

Jean-Pierre also told reporters on Monday that despite Biden’s promises of transparency, and prior White House precedent, reporters would not get to speak with Dr. Kevin O’Connor, physician to the president, about Biden’s health.

The doctor has also never taken questions from the press during Biden’s term.

As The Blaze noted: “Moreover, Jean-Pierre’s remarks came just one week after Biden twice claimed to speak with dead world leaders, and he also appeared to forget the name of Hamas.” (RELATED: Biden Claims To Have Spoken To (Second) Deceased Statesman)

On Monday, Biden appeared dazed and confused during a joint press conference with Jordanian King Abdullah II.

The New York Post reported:

“Your majesty, over to you,” the president told the royal leader before shuffling around behind him aimlessly, staring down at the floor as if he was searching for a mark to stand on.

Biden shifted back and forth behind Abdullah before deciding to stand to the king’s immediate left in front of the Jordanian flag.

The indecision prompted Abdullah to look back over his shoulder at one point to catch sight of Biden — who had already moved to his opposite side.

The Post added:

The controversial issue took on more urgency after special counsel Robert Hur produced a report Thursday that revealed the prosecutor will not charge the president for “willfully” retaining classified material — because of a lack of evidence and because a jury would likely view the commander-in-chief as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” and “diminished faculties in advancing age.” 

Jean-Pierre babbled as she maligned Hur, saying, “He’s not a medical doctor. “He’s just not. It’s not for him to speak to. It’s just not,” she said. Maybe Jean-Pierre should take a cognitive exam, too.
