Caravan of 1,000+ Migrants Crossed US-Mexico Border Last Night

-

Over 1,000 migrants crossed the porous U.S.-Mexico border last night in the El Paso sector.

And it was all caught on video.

Fox News' Bill Melugin posted footage of the winding group fording the Rio Grande.

The Daily Wire has more:

According to Melugin, the migrants could be traced to a series of buses that recently traveled to Ciudad Juarez, a Mexican city on the river just south of El Paso.

“Before this mass of migrants crossed, Mexican police escorted nearly 20 buses full of migrants into Ciudad Juarez, the MX city across from El Paso, and released them at multiple NGOs [Non-Governmental Organizations]. The migrants then walked from the NGOs to the river, & crossed illegally into El Paso,” he wrote on Sunday.

El Paso Matters reported that the migrants were part of a caravan stopped in Chihuahua, Mexico, on Thursday, more than 200 miles from the U.S. border, before being allowed to proceed.

“The migratory flow cannot be opened, and there is no support for migrants in Ciudad Juárez. This affects the people of Juárez,” Chihuahua Gov. Maru Campos told the outlet.

Before the midterms, American Liberty News reported that Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei accused President Biden of rejecting his country's proposal to help end the crisis at the border.

According to The Washington Examiner, President Giammattei said he approached administration officials with a plan for the United States to deport people heading north from Guatemala before they reach the U.S.-Mexico border but was rejected. Biden tapped Vice President Kamala Harris to handle efforts to secure the border but she has largely seemed to ignore the role and has notably never visited the border.

Since President Biden took office, nearly four million people have been encountered attempting to enter the U.S. illegally, a record-shattering number that doesn't include the number of migrants that managed to evade arrest.

Governors , R-Ariz., and , R-Texas, have taken action in recent months to secure the border in their states.

Ducey's improvised border barrier has been met with significant opposition. Resistance to his wall of shipping containers intensified over the weekend when border county Sheriff David Hathaway vowed to stop its construction if it ever reached his county.

Hathaway told a local television affiliate, “The area where they're placing the containers is entirely on federal land, on national forest.” The sheriff added that Ducey's makeshift wall isn't on “not state land, it's not private land, and the federal government has said this [is] illegal activity.”

Other border county sheriffs support Ducey's initiative, which he has vowed to continue until he leaves office next month.

  1. Stop busing and flying them to the cities of their choice, stop housing them and feeding them. When you take away the freebies, they will stop coming!!

  2. If the Federal Government wants the illegals to stay, then house them on Federal land, use Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s system. House them in tents, provide bologna sandwiches and water…. And pink underwear. That all. Leave the south gate open, directly into Mexico, no other openings. See how long they decide to stay.

As long as you make their lives here better than they were wherever they came from, they will stay. If there is no improvement from home, then they will tell their friends and families to stay home and, eventually, they will head back there themselves. When they begin to figure out that the only way to move here is through legal channels, the illegal channels will begin to close down.

  3. There only a couple ways to stop illegal aliens form what’s going on. And it looks like the people along the border are about to take care of the problem slow Joe refuses to stop. This is our country not just Joe’s we have a right to defend it.

  4. Send ’em ALL to the exquisite mansions of Biden, Harris, Schumer and Obama. Maybe to Switch Mitch McConnell, as well. I’m sure they have lavish guest rooms.

  5. Abandon the border as it no longer is a border!! Everybody, Border Patrol and all Texas law enforcement, abandon the border we no longer have. Tear down all the tents. Throw away all the keys for the busses. Let Biden take care of the problem. Can you see him and
Mayorkas take care of all the illegal millions?

Why not? What the hell do you have to lose with this worthless baby sitting job for people who get everything free while Americans suffer!
