Elon Musk Backed By Jewish Billionaire After Alleged Antisemitic Post

-

ANALYSIS – Everyone knows that often says or posts things he may not have meant or might later regret. Shooting from the hip online is part of the Musk persona.

At times his unscripted comments have even hurt his bottom line, costing him billions. But that hasn't stopped him from posting or Musk haters from attacking him.

Most recently, Musk agreed with a post on that accused Jewish people of harboring hatred toward white people.  Musk's comment, in which he said, “You have said the actual truth,” sparked widespread criticism.

The faux outrage came from the White House as well as shareholders, with some investors saying he should be suspended from his position as chief of the electric carmaker. Tesla is Musk's only publicly traded company.

Advertisers from Apple, Inc. to Walt Disney Co. have also responded by suspending or halting spending on X.

The original post on X by ‘The Artist Formerly Known as Eric' read: “Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.”

However, some prominent American Jews have quickly come to Musk's defense.

Conservative podcaster said Musk's comments had been taken out of context, highlighting that following his “actual truth” response, Musk had added: “This does not extend to all Jewish communities, but it is also not just limited to ADL.”

The ADL – Anti-Defamation League – is a Jewish activist group fighting anti-Semitism, which Musk previously said he plans to sue for defaming the reputation of X publicly.

Musk added to his response: “The ADL unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the West supporting the Jewish people and .”

“This is because they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are their primary threat.”

“It's not right and needs to stop.” (RELATED: Musk Blocked Starlink To Thwart Ukrainian Sea Drone Attack On Russian Fleet)

But it's not just that. The rest of the original post Musk was agreeing with said:

“I'm deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest shit now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that [they] support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much.”

“You want truth said to your face, there it is.”

Apparently referring to that part of the original tweet, Musk then posted: ‘You have said the actual truth.”

And now billionaire investor , of Ashkenazi Jewish descent – who has been a vocal critic of Harvard University's response to on its campus – is responding.

Ackman, chief executive officer of Pershing Square Capital Management, and worth roughly $2.2 billion according to Bloomberg, has pushed his alma mater hard to eradicate antisemitism on the Harvard campus. (RELATED: Watch: Harvard's Surprising Response To Doxxing Campaign)

Writing on X, Ackman declared: “Elon Musk is not an antisemite.” I agree with @benshapiro's assessment of the situation.

“It is remarkable how quickly the world stands ready to attack Musk for his shoot-from-the-hip commentary,” Ackman continued. “Musk is not perfect, but the world is a vastly better place because of him.”

This isn't the first time Ackman has backed Musk – just last month the billionaire said he would “absolutely” be interested in a deal with X Corp following the launch of his new investment vehicle.

Ackman also said he's backed the social platform X via a $10 million investment through his firm's foundation.
