GOP Leaders Call To Deport Foreign Terrorist Supporters From US

-

ANALYSIS – Send them home. Since over 2,000 bloodthirsty Hamas terrorists stormed into southern Israel on Oct. 7, specifically to butcher and massacre over 1,400 innocent men, women and children, we have seen numerous public outbursts, protests and statements made in support of the terrorists.

Many of these demonstrations of solidarity are disguised as supporting Palestinians or ‘Palestine,' but many are overtly pro-Hamas, anti-Israel and anti-Jew.

Sadly, too many of these terrorist sympathizers are here in the United States, where we suffered our own horrific terror attack by similar Islamist savages on Sept. 11, 2001.

What's worse is that some (or many) of the pro-Hamas protesters aren't U.S. citizens or residents. They are here as students or on other temporary visas. An unknown number are here illegally, having arrived recently under 's open border policy. (RELATED: Biden Admin Issues Stern Warning To Banks That Refuse To Provide Loans To Illegal Immigrants)

All of them need to go – and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says that as president, he will start by sending back any foreign students here openly supporting .

And he isn't alone in the .

I earlier applauded for saying that once elected, he would initiate the largest deportation in American history. After a massive wave of eight million unvetted illegals swarming into our country in less than three years, that is the only way to reverse the damage done by Biden.

As part of his effort, Trump said he would “immediately” invoke the Alien Enemies Act – part of the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 – a federal law granting the president unilateral power to detain and deport foreign aliens in the United States who are over 14 years old.

“I'll…invoke immediately the Alien Enemies Act to remove all known or suspected gang members…the drug dealers, the cartel members from the United States, ending the scourge of illegal alien gang violence once and for all,” Trump vowed.

And this is a very good start. But in recent days, DeSantis and others, such as Senators Marco Rubio of Florida and of , have added a new twist to Trump's proposal. (RELATED: Biden Considers Forcing Illegal Immigrants With Asylum Claims To Remain In Texas)

Remove foreign students from the U.S. who openly support terrorism.

As  reported:

DeSantis called students voicing support for Hamas a “total disgrace” earlier this month after at least dozens of student groups at various U.S. academic institutions, including Harvard University, endorsed Hamas' attacks on Israel through public statements and protests, even as many of the universities themselves condemned the acts of terrorism.

Shortly after the attack on October 7, Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups released a statement signed by about 30 student organizations that read, “We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.”

Students for Justice in Palestine chapters and other pro-Palestinian student groups at many other universities, including George Washington University, the University of and the University of , Berkley, also released similar statements on the weekend of Hamas' attack.

In response, DeSantis said: “You see students demonstrating in our country in favor of Hamas. Remember, some of them are foreigners.” Referring to these foreign students, DeSantis added that as president he will be “canceling your visa, and I'm sending you home.”

Fox continues by noting other Republicans who back that idea: “Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said the  should rescind visas of foreign nationals who defend or support Hamas and Sen. Tom Cotton, R. Ark., urged the Department of Homeland Security to deport foreign nationals, including those on student visas, who have expressed support for Hamas in the wake of the terror attack on Israel.”

I wholeheartedly agree. I also agree with DeSantis' stance on not taking any refugees from Gaza. As much as I feel for anyone fleeing a war zone, Biden's massive wave of illegals has made it impossible for anyone else to be allowed into the country in large numbers.

“I don't know what [President] Biden's gonna do, but we cannot accept people from Gaza into this country as refugees,” DeSantis said earlier this month.

“I am not going to do that,” he added. “If you look at how they behave, not all of them are Hamas, but they are all antisemitic. None of them believe in Israel's right to exist.”

Unlike DeSantis, I usually refrain from saying ‘all' or ‘none' because you can always find exceptions. And many in Gaza don't support Hamas, but many don't.

And in this case, the risk is too high. DeSantis is probably right about most of those in Gaza hating Jews.

Overall, these ideas are all sound. Send back those who are criminals or openly support terrorism, and don't let any more into the U.S. who might.
