Even the Defense Department isn't immune from today's culture wars.
In response to recent Pride Month controversies, Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) has introduced legislation that would prohibit the use of public funds for “organizing, promoting, or hosting drag shows as a means of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.”

In an interview with Task & Purpose, Grothman explained why he feels this issue is important enough to deserve the attention of Congress as well as the Defense Department, given the numerous national security threats facing the country.
“I think – as in corporate America, as in the education establishment – there is an overall effort being made to make the military more woke – they don't like that word, but I'll use it here,” Grothman said. “And, I think a woke military is probably a less productive military.”
Grothman's bill comes among a wider effort by Republican lawmakers to ban children from attending drag shows. Following a torrent of criticism, Ramstein Air Base in Germany canceled a Pride Month event planned for June, at which a drag queen had been expected to read stories to children at a base library. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), one of the event's top critics, wrote a letter to Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall, in which Rubio argued: “As I hope you can agree, decisions over children and their bodies should be left to moms and dads serving our nation, not mediated through publicly funded propaganda on U.S. Air Force bases.”
Grothman said his proposed legislation was inspired by a July 30 event held at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia: The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summer Festival. Although Joshua Kelley, a sailor who performs in drag as “Harpy Daniels,” was expected to perform at the event, Kelley did not attend the festival, according to the Navy.
The U.S. Armed Forces have increasingly shown public support for the LGBTQ community since the repeal of the controversial Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.
A 2015 RAND survey of 16,000 U.S. service members found that 5.8% of the respondents identified as gay, lesbian or bisexual. Broken down by gender, 3.9% of males and 16.1% of females identified as LGBTQ.

Nothing is immune to the culture wars.
There are no vacuums when it comes to morality or immorality. Consequently, there are no vacuums when it comes to legislated morality/immorality. And that morality/immorality demonstrates the god of the government in question.
Thus, there are likewise no vacuums when it comes to religious-influenced governments, be it even Secular Humanism in its multifarious forms, and it usually is.
Case in point: The biblically egregious Constitutional Republic.
Consequently, there is no thing as separation of religion and state. It’s the figment of man’s fertile imagination, or the evil machinations of those with the intent that only their ungodly religion determine government law.
When one understands the idolatry is not so much about statues as it is statutes, it’s evident that all governments are theocratic. A government’s God is, therefore, determined by the source of whatever it considers its supreme law:
“…A government’s laws reflect its morality, and the source of that morality (or, more often than not, immorality) is its god. It is never a question of theocracy or no theocracy, but whose theocracy. The American people, by way of their elected officials, are the source of the Constitutional Republic’s laws. Therefore, the Constitutional Republic’s god is WE THE PEOPLE.

This is an inevitability of government. The only question is which god, theocracy, laws, and morality will we choose to live under?…”

It is more pervasive than drag shows. Biden and the progressives want to force “gender equality” on every aspect of American life. They are forging ahead with plans to impose it on the US military, trying to change the UCMJ, Uniform Code of Military justice.
The LGBTQ+ efforts to project their “gender identity” everything around them got a huge boost under Obama.
Trump shut it down, but the current administration is pushing to complete it. Sec Def Austin and Gen Milley signaled their approval with lectures about it as part of the 60 day military “stand down” to root out “extremism” in the ranks.
The LGBTQ+ crew want to add specific offenses to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). They want a criminal offense of “misgendering” for any one who (even accidentally) misidentifies their chosen gender or who accidentally does not use their preferred gender pronouns. That list genders is now up to what, more than 60?
Further, they want to criminalize “gender discrimination”, imposing a criminal penalty for people who do not agree to date them.

The pentagon allows this because the majority of them are Pedophiles. This is their scape goat Kinda like, we won’t get caught.
When I was in the service I had never heard of lesbians, drag queens, etc but after basic I knew what they were and I stayed clear of them. They also knew I did not care for their type. I worked in an office that was next to OSI. We became friends and I helped them with names of the females that were different from us, in fact they wanted me to join them but I was too young and of not time in service or rank. They were putting those females and males as quick as they could. Morale was better in those days. This is all BS.
And all branches of the military are wondering why they can’t meet their recruitment quotas. Who in their right mind would enlist in a military where pronouns are more important than learning how to defend their nation? I’m pretty sure pronouns are way on the bottom of the list for the Israeli army. I am a little worried that if our army went up against the Israeli army we might lose with this woke military we have now. I’m so glad I was in the U. S. Navy in the good old days of “don’t ask, don’t tell” – even though we knew who the homosexuals were and we avoided them like the plague. Generally, they got through one enlistment and that was it – if they even got through the first one.
