Although Kamala Harris has been proclaimed the winner of her first presidential debate with , it appears that after the debate, even with both moderators being accused of joining on her behalf, Trump made strides with independent voters.

Although pundits declared Vice President Kamala Harris the clear winner of Tuesday night's debate, former President Trump won six of ten undecided voters in a Reuters focus group. Harris only won three. A New York Times survey of undecideds had similar results.Some political pundits predicted the debate.

Trump belittles Medal of Honor award in campaign speech. Former President on Thursday said the Presidential Medal of Freedom is a “better” award than the Defense Department's Medal of Honor because service members have to sacrifice their lives or health to receive the military's highest honor.

This as he introduced a major Jewish supporter who he bestowed the Medal of Freedom to in 2018

OF COURSE – Harris campaign knocks Trump for saying civilian honor is better than Medal of Honor. Harris's campaign knocked Trump for his assertion that a civilian honor was better than the highest military honor, arguing that he knows nothing about service.

These drills are critical to strengthening the Air Force's ability to operate in contested environments at all echelons, which is essential to deterring and defeating aggression in the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.

French frigate drills with US, Japanese forces in the Western Pacific, US sub tender ready for work on boats in Australia. The FS Bretagne (D655) earlier conducted a crew swap in Japan. Meanwhile, submarine tender USS Emory S. RUSSIA THREAT – UKRAINE WAR

Ukraine's offensive derails secret efforts for partial cease-fire with Russia. The warring countries were set to hold indirect talks in Qatar on an agreement to halt strikes on energy and power infrastructure.

Russian marines capture group of 19 Ukrainian soldiers in Russia's Kursk region. The state RIA news agency described the Ukrainians as “saboteurs.”

NORTH KOREA THREAT

US and South Korea begin military drills aimed at strengthening their defense against nuclear-armed North Korea. The large-scale exercise Monday is aimed at strengthening their combined defense capabilities. North Korea again accused the allies of practicing an invasion.

SPACE THREAT

Hydrosat launches first payload to monitor hot spots on Earth. The remote sensing startup successfully launched its first temperature-taking sensor, designed to measure water scarcity — a capability that already has interest from the U.S. Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
