Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

PAUL’S DEFENSE BRIEF (PDB) – Trump draft executive order would create board to purge generals. The proposed “warrior board” of retired senior military leaders will have the power to review three- and four-star officers and to recommend removals of any deemed unfit for leadership.

If enacted, it could fast-track removal of admirals found to be “lacking in requisite leadership qualities.”

Those identified for removal would be retired at their current rank within 30 days.

In October, Trump said he would create a task force to monitor the “woke generals” and get rid of diversity training in the military.

“They’re gone,” Trump said of those unnamed generals.

One potential target of Trump’s woke housecleaning could be Air Force Gen. CQ Brown Jr., the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During the 2020 George Floyd protests, Brown spoke about the impact that movement had on him.

Trump picks Army veteran and conservative ‘war on woke’ Fox commentator Pete Hegseth as his next Defense Secretary, saying the appointment will help strengthen America’s military.

Hegseth could also be key in implementing the findings of the warrior board’s review.

Like ex-CJCS Mark Milley (U.S. Army, Ret.), we cannot have this follow-on Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. (USAF), to continue Milley’s woke policies and degrading the U.S. Armed Forces as the current CJCS. He should be fired on day one of Trump’s second term and replaced with a top-quality general like Mike Flynn (U.S. Army Lt Gen., Ret.), Jack Keane (U.S. Army Gen., Ret.), Ronny Jackson (USN RADM, Ret.), Tom McInerney (USAF Lt. Gen., Ret.), William Boykin (U.S. Army Lt Gen., Ret.), Mike Bucci (USN VADM, Ret.), Paul Vallely (U.S. Army MG, Ret.), and Blaine Holt (USAF BG, Ret.). We need current general or star-rank officers who work to build our military into a well-honed fighting force instead of promoting Woke policies, DEI (better known as DIE), and making “girly men” out of our warfighters.
