WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump issued his starkest warning yet to Iran on Tuesday, declaring that “a whole civilization will die tonight” if Tehran fails to meet a U.S. deadline tied to escalating conflict in the region.

Obviously President Trump is using hyperbole. He is not going after the Iranians (Persians).
