It’s time for Stacey Abrams to pay the piper- and her campaign staff.
According to Abrams’s campaign manager Lauren Groh-Wargo, the Democrat’s campaign owes more than $1 million to multiple vendors and even was forced to slash checks for most of its 180 full-time employees. According to The Washington Examiner, the campaign raised more than $100 million through the campaign cycle.
“People have told me they have no idea how they’re going to pay their rent in January,” a former staffer told Axios. “It was more than unfortunate. It was messed up.”
In November, the Democrat challenger lost by almost 299,000 votes to Kemp whom she also lost the 2018 gubernatorial race.
“We did not just lose, we got blown out,” said Groh-Wargo. “It was the most suboptimal situation to be in. And we will be dealing with that situation for some time.”
“Of course, I would have loved to do a lot of things differently. But I had to move as fast as possible. We tried to do the best we could to make sure that help would be there for folks,” she added, claiming employees received health insurance benefits until November.
Not only is Abrams now facing financial troubles within her political campaign the rising Democrat star’s nonprofit group The New Georgia Project, is also facing allegations of fundraising illegally across the United States.
The New Georgia Project was previously led by Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) who fired half its leadership in October 2022 because it allegedly lacked funds.
“I figured, $100 million? They should be able to pay me until December,” another Abrams campaign staffer told Axios.

Totally agree. This is just a short-term circumstance for Abrahms. She is now owed so many IOUs by the DNC, giving them Democrat Senate victories in 2020 & 2022, she will be rewarded. I’m just hoping it’s not a VP role if Harris becomes President before the 2024 election or as a running mate in the 2024 Presidential election.
She obviously needs no “training” in using campaign monies for personal use and/or fundraising.

Maybe they can follow the trail to where all that money went, but it won’t be easy. The dems have had decades of practice in where and how to hide money. Why do you think there are so many millionaire democrat politicians?

Kind of funny how a person can get into politics having little to no assets, and in a short amount of time are all of a sudden millionaires. This case is an excellent example. They sure need to do a pretty complete audit on this dame and see just where all the money went that “supporters” gave them.
