A federal judge has just served the Trump team a loss.
On Monday, a federal judge sided with the Justice Department‘s (DOJ) request to block former President Trump from disclosing information relating to the Mar-a-Lago case after prosecutors said the investigation remains ongoing.
The order sides with the DOJ in allowing Trump to view evidence collected in the case, including classified documents, but only in the presence of his attorneys. The order also blocks him from disseminating any information from the case with reporters or on social media.
“Defendants shall only have access to Discovery Materials under the direct supervision of Defense Counsel or a member of Defense Counsel’s staff. Defendants shall not retain copies of Discovery Material,” Judge Bruce Reinhart, who approved the warrant to search Mar-a-Lago, wrote in the order.
The Justice Department in its Friday request said that restrictions were required, as its investigation could yield additional arrests.
“The materials also include information pertaining to ongoing investigations, the disclosure of which could compromise those investigations and identify uncharged individuals,” the department wrote.
Last week, Trump was arraigned in Miami on more than 30 counts related to his handling of classified documents after he left the White House. Federal prosecutors have accused Trump of risking national security and violating of the Espionage Act.

What is DOJ hiding? Name names damn it
1. The DOJ is the one that has been leaking information continuously to the leftist media. So, this is hardly just. They can leak information about the case, but Trump can’t? Not even to respond?
2. The DOJ will of course insist there are other investigations going on until long after Trump’s trial. We know the game they are playing.
3. Note the DOJ has not and will not attempt to stop information from being leaked to the media. Nor will there be any indictments for these leaks. Because the DOJ is the one doing the leaking.
4. Notice there have been no leaks from the DOJ concerning the Biden Crime Family’s bribery, the several investigations of Hunter Biden, or past or present investigations of the Clintons.
The files at Mar A Lago was dirt on various politicians, judges, etc. Trump was going to expose the corruption and that’s why they are so scared. Handling of documents is petty. They wanted to find out what dirt Trump had. Noe they know.
Of course not! Mr. Trump has no filter and could not keep his mouth shut if you welded it!
