President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to face sentencing in the hush-money case on Jan. 10, just 10 days before his inauguration. The decision, handed down by Judge Juan Merchan, follows the denial of Trump’s motion to dismiss the case despite his election victory.
In a statement accompanying the ruling, Merchan emphasized that no prison time will be imposed as part of the sentencing.
“While this Court as a matter of law must not make any determination on sentencing prior to giving the parties and Defendants opportunity to be heard, it seems proper at this juncture to make known the Court’s inclination to not impose any sentence of incarceration, a sentence authorized by the conviction but one the People concede they no longer view as a practicable recommendation,” Merchan declared in his ruling.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, led by DA Alvin Bragg (D), charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records. These charges are related to a hush-money scheme aimed at preventing porn star Stormy Daniels from discussing her alleged extramarital affair before the 2016 presidential election.
A New York City jury ultimately found Trump guilty of 34 felonies.
The court has provided flexibility for Trump’s upcoming appearance, allowing him to either attend in person or participate remotely via video.

Marchan is a disgrace to the law society, there is nothing impartial about this judge, he took an oath to support the constitution and seems like his political preferences and political interference has led him to believe that continuing to create political interference to help the Democrat party takes more of a preference than him following the law, I hope the Republicans disbar him, federally charged him with election interference and put his ass where it deserves to be behind bars, these Democrat destroyers of the country need to be held accountable.
The foreign born judge Merchan is very typical of recent immigrants, even those brought as children to the USA, who do NOT accept American culture, laws, customs, and traditions and when given positions of power tend to punish Americans as a form of sick revenge trying to even things out or to try to get justice. It is a sick form of jealousy, Why do we give foreigners and immigrants so much power to use against us?
Unfortunately this is also true of many Blacks who do not feel to be a part of the US, and fight American values in any way that they can, including criminal activities.
The NYC jury was comprised heavily of left leaning DEMONcraps(socialists/communists) and their decision should have been thrown out and will be upon the sentencing and appeal process.
No sentence is good. But watch out for the democrats. Two house democrats have already started the action an the Artical 14 procedure.
BUT No Jail time
Do Merchan and the rest of the Democrats and the left understand how eternally famous they are making Trump? He already will be, and this will increase it. They should quit while they are ahead. If he has a GREAT term, they are SCREWED.
