A State Department contractor has been terminated after undercover footage captured by O’Keefe Media Group surfaced showing him admitting to advising illegal migrants on how to evade law enforcement and expressing overtly racist and anti-American sentiments.
Arslan Akhtar, who worked as a visa specialist for the department, is “no longer employed” by the U.S. State Department, officials confirmed in a statement to the O’Keefe Media Group, which released the footage on Tuesday.
“Upholding the rule of law and protecting the integrity of our immigration system is essential, which is why the Department will launch a new contractor screening and vetting process,” a State Department spokesperson said.
In the video, Akhtar is recorded admitting he has given legal guidance to illegal migrants, particularly of Hispanic descent, instructing them not to speak with law enforcement and to lie about what they’ve done.
“Don’t admit the truth. That is the ultimate loophole: always maintain your innocence. If you want a loophole, keep your mouth shut.”
Even more alarming to officials and the public alike, Akhtar is heard making a series of inflammatory and racist remarks.
“I dismiss the hell out of them [whites]. I don’t even want to see them. I don’t give a s**t about them. That’s sort of the way that I see these people over here; you can’t even think about them.”
He continues, “Enforcing a structure where we’re at the bottom. I’m not gonna allow that anymore. It’s a culture of hatred, ultimately, and it’s a culture of dominance. They feel like they have the right to dominate everybody.”
He describes Yemeni applicants as “the most conniving group of folks, next to Indians,” and adds, “I hate them, with a passion.”
The video also captures Akhtar making violent comments about Elon Musk, stating he would “love” to see the tech billionaire “lynched on the streets.”
The State Department moved quickly to distance itself from Akhtar, emphasizing a commitment to identifying and eliminating those with Akhtar’s values from the federal government.
“This is just the beginning,” the department said in a statement on X. “These radicals with anti-American views have been embedded in our executive branch for generations, and we are systemically cleaning out contractors that have allowed this.”
As the Department of State launches a new contractor vetting system in response to the Akhtar revelations, some Republican lawmakers are calling for broader investigations into ideological bias within federal agencies.
The fallout from Akhtar’s firing is expected to add momentum to calls for tighter controls over federal contracting, particularly in sensitive areas like immigration and visa processing. As of now, no criminal charges have been announced in connection with the footage.

My first suggestion is that the government start hiring people with American names, and even then it’s iffy as to how far the brain garbage has traveled and how many brains it has rotted, regardless ethnicity and the spelling of names.
