With inflation through the roof and the majority of polled likely voters reporting they felt they were better off financially under Trump than they were under the Biden-Harris administration, citizens may be displeased to learn that the Biden-Harris State Department is using their tax dollars to put on theatrical productions in Macedonia, where God is bisexual and communists are the “good guys.”
The Daily Caller reports:
The Biden-Harris administration is paying to put on a play that portrays God as bisexual, sharply criticizes former President Ronald Reagan and paints communists in a positive light, all in an effort to push gay rights on Southeastern Europeans, federal grant records show.
Earlier in September, the State Department greenlit funding for a showing of Tony Kushner's 1991 play “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes” in North Macedonia, with the agency claiming the production will raise awareness about “LGBTQ+ issues” in the country, federal grant records reveal. The play follows multiple storylines, among them the ghost of convicted communist spy Ethel Rosenberg antagonizing dying conservative lawyer Roy Cohn and a gay man having sexually explicit visions of heaven as he struggles with AIDS.
Christians may be especially disturbed to learn that their tax dollars are footing the bill for a play that many consider blasphemous and openly antagonistic of their religion.
The Daily Caller continues:
In one such vision, he finds that angels have “eight vaginas” and are “equipped as well with a bouquet of phalli” and that the universe was created by God “copulat[ing] ceaselessly” with these hermaphroditic beings. Ejaculate from angels “fuels the Engine of Creation,” the play recounts.
This isn't the first time the State Department has concentrated its resources on promoting LGBTQ acceptance in foreign countries with theatre.
The Daily Caller explains:
The State Department's production of an anti-Reagan, pro-LGBT play is not its first exercise in using theatrics for the purposes of social engineering as it spent $120,000 in 2023 to “improve communication at the level of the local community on the social issue of LGBTQ rights and domestic violence via participatory theater” in the African nation of Chad.
When questioned by the Daily Caller, State Department spokesperson insisted, “Culture — from music to sports to theater — is a vital component of the United States' people-to-people diplomacy efforts in Chad and around the world and supports broader U.S. foreign policy goals.”
Macedonia is culturally conservative, and has adopted conservative economic policies as well. Political leaders in the country have complained of George Soros using his wealth to try to change the landscape of the country, and prop up Marxist and socialist movements.
Vice President of Macedonia's Stop Operation Soros explains the involvement.
“USAID, the U.S. development agency, and the U.S. Embassy here have given tens of millions of dollars over the past several years to George Soros-led groups in Macedonia. They don't give anything remotely similar to conservative groups. They're essentially supporting only one side of the ideological divide in Macedonia. And they were doing this at a time when these groups were organizing violent protests, attacking the police, doing all they can to bring down the conservative government in this country. They keep the money for all sorts of activities. That includes media development, so the U.S. is paying for a long list of far-Left TV programs and news sites in Macedonia. They even pay for, several hundred thousand dollars have gone to essentially a copy of Saturday Night Live going on Macedonian television with similar talking points and similar jokes against conservatives and lionizing the Left.”
