The historic leak of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade earlier this year has poured gasoline onto what was already raging fire of the pro-life debate in America.
It appears that the Left has taken the increased hostility as an opportunity to target their opposition with violence, vandalism, and harassment.
In the weeks since the monumental Supreme Court leak that saw Politico publish Justice Samuel Alito’s Supreme Court draft opinion – which suggested the Court will be overturning Roe v. Wade – violence and harassment of pro-life groups across the country has steadily risen.
In a recent report released by Fox News, the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America group detailed 49 incidents of violence, vandalism, and harassment committed by pro-abortion activists since the May 2nd leak. At least 47 of those incidents included the targeting of pro-life individuals, events, organizations, pregnancy centers, and churches.
“Every abortion is an act of violence – violence against the unborn child who is killed and violence against the mother who is wounded in one of the deepest ways possible,” the organization’s president, Marjorie Dannenfelser, said in a press release. “In contrast to that inherent violence, the vast network of pregnancy centers, maternity homes, and other organizations across America exist to peacefully and lovingly serve women and families.”
“President Biden, his administration, and every elected officeholder and candidate needs to unequivocally condemn them now, including illegal picketing of Supreme Court justices’ homes and the attempted murder of Justice Kavanaugh,” she said.
“Violence and destruction of property have no place in our country under any circumstances, and the President denounces this action,” the statement read. “We should all agree that actions like this are completely unacceptable regardless of our politics.”
This increased violence has also spread to the Justices of the Supreme Court itself. Protestors frequently harass them outside their homes, with one even going so far as attempting to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh earlier this month.
Last Wednesday, two U.S. Marshals witnessed a suspect dressed in black clothing exit a taxi in front of Kavanaugh’s Montgomery County home with a backpack and suitcase. Shortly afterward, the suspect, identified as Nicholas John Roske, called 911 to report he was experiencing suicidal thoughts and intended to kill Kavanaugh in response to the Supreme Court draft opinion which was leaked in May.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America led over a dozen other pro-life organizations in sending a joint letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland. In the letter, groups called on the Justice Department to investigate the string of violence against pro-life individuals and entities. However, it seems the left is unwilling to speak out against these heinous acts.
Since the incident, other than releasing a statement condemning the assassination attempt on Kavanaugh through a spokesperson, President Biden has remained silent since the attempt on Kavanaugh’s life.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used her purported Catholic faith to promote and defend abortion and refused to even give an answer regarding the wave of violence being visited against churches, pregnancy centers, and pro-life offices. She also refused to take any more questions on the matter.
Republicans on the other hand have been strongly condemning the violence these pro-life groups are facing. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise spoke with Fox News earlier this month and condemned Democratic leaders for encouraging this kind of behavior.
“For weeks, Democrat leaders from President Biden’s White House to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer encouraged dangerous protests against Supreme Court justices, including at their homes, to illegally threaten and intimidate them in an attempt to change the outcome of a court decision,” House minority whip Steve Scalise, R-La., told Fox News Digital.
“How many more times do we need to see political violence motivated by threatening rhetoric before Democrats stop encouraging and condoning this kind of dangerous behavior?” the Republican whip continued.
“Rather than investigating parents at school board meetings as ‘domestic terrorists,’ President Biden’s Justice Department should look into the actual dangerous violence coming from the radical left that continues to put the lives of people in danger for their political views,” he added.

Sorry… I’m about as conservative as you can get, but I do NOT support the supposed “Pro-Lifers”. This is one subject I firmly believe is between a woman and God, and should not be dictated, one way or the other, by the government or any other group. I guess it all comes down to when a person believes life begins. For me, if the fetus is unable to live outside the woman’s body, it is not a “child”. And I believe God takes the souls of those fetuses back to heaven, to send them back down to someone who wants them. He’s the only One who can judge the woman, not her neighbors or anyone else.
Way to sidestep the issue. Leave it up to God. Its murder plain and simple.
At what point do you think a fetus is able to survive outside the womb? What about partial birth abortions where the fetus/child(?) can be killed/murdered(?) if it hasn’t completely cleared the birth canal?
Roe v Wade stated 50 yrs ago that point was approximately 24 wks–and medical science has come a long way since then.
So, tell us how your not-following-the-science views square with current practices. You don’t support pro-lifers but you apparently support the abortion rights activists even though they violate the terms of their precious Roe v Wade. How is that conservative?
Finally, the article isn’t even about pro-life or abortion rights, it’s about the violence the abortion rights group visits upon pro-life individuals and organizations and churches. In case you don’t remember or are ignorant of, the definition of terrorism is “the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims,” which is exactly what the abortion rights groups are practicing.
Ok, then maybe these murdering slobs should have used protection, or better, keep things ‘closed’. You liberals are all about school shootings, not for the kids but for complete control and disarming law abiding gun owners. Yet, i don’t hear a whimper about 66,000,000 baby murders.

Biden et al. will not condemn these attacks on womens’ crisis centers, because they perps are Democrats. Forget the term “Left.” It is too vague. The criminals are Democrats, who belong to a party of criminals, a syndicate of criminals which protects the interests of criminals. Remember this most important point: “Left” and related terms do not appear on ballots, “Democrat” does.

Personally, I hope every single Leftist currently in power gets shown the door & is replaced with a true American patriot who believes in & will fight for traditional American values such as, but not limited to, real freedom including the freedom to be born without having some monster tear them from limb to limb in a near “religious” ceremony of the woman’s “right to choose”!
It is no secret that the democrats have totally ignored the laws of our land against their own kind. We have basically, no law against the democrats. Therefore, our country, under the democrat’s leadership has become a “Totalitarian State”! It has been a long-time dream of the Socialist Party of America, to come into this era. It isn’t right to not rebel against it by the Patriots who still live by the Constitution Law, and by its principles. America is becoming a double demographic society. One has carved into Socialism, and one has held on to its basic foundation which was demonstrated by patriotism. For the present time you might say we are a Totalitarian State because the democrats have control, and we are being led by a dictator. He sometimes rules by decree, when he exercises Executive mandates, and by Congressional authority. But again, the Congress is led by a democratic majority. Either way you look at it, Socialism is winning right now.

Understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers. We are living in a time that Judges describes: “And people lived as they pleased”.

I don’t know if the Republicans and the true patriots in America would do any better than the democrats. I would think we would. But I do know this one thing. Republicans love our Constitution, our righteous democracy, our Federal Republic and our way of life that men since the inception of America have lived and died for. Those principles must never die. America is for “ALL” peoples who love the American way of life. We do not refuse any outsider entry into our country, if done lawfully, and we do not, as democrats used to do to the black population, hold back any rights to live in hope, and prosperity in our America! We are the land of the free and the God fearing country.
