Amid an unimaginable scene of carnage and destruction, first responders found a small miracle in the brunt shell of a bus that plunged nearly 200 feet off a mountain pass in South Africa.

In a statement, the transport ministry said the driver lost control of the vehicle while going a round bend.
The bus caught fire after the crash near Mamatlakala in the northeast province of Limpopo.
The passenger bus was transporting people from Botswana, who were reportedly travelling to Moria in Limpopo which hosts a popular Easter pilgrimage.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa sent his condolences to Botswana and pledged support to the country, his office said in a statement.
Condolences from other world leaders to the people of Botswana poured in even before rescue operations began. The U.S. State Department's Bureau of African Affairs tweeted that it was “saddened to learn of yesterday's bus accident in South Africa, which killed at least 45 people from Botswana. The U.S. Government sends its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and communities affected by this tragedy.”
