Ronna McDaniel Reelected RNC Chair for 2024 Campaign Cycle

-

The Republican National Committee has picked the individual who will lead the party for the electoral cycle.

has been reelected chairwoman of the Republican National Committee.

The race was a bitter battle between the current chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel, her top challenger and MyPillow CEO .

Dhillon was thought to have growing support in recent days after first announcing the challenge to McDaniel late last year.

Governor Ron DeSantis showed support for Dhillon's platform point of moving the RNC out of DC during an appearance on Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk's show earlier this week. Some took this to mean that he endorsed Dhillon, and others even reported that the move swung some votes her way. (RELATED: DeSantis Calls for ‘New Blood' to Lead RNC)

In the end that was not enough for Dhillion to prevail in the race, or even spur a second round of voting.

Out of 167 total votes cast, Lindell received four, Dhillon received 51 and 111 votes were cast for McDaniel.

The reaction from grassroots conservatives has been one of disappointment, as anticipated.

Prior to the vote, Charlie Kirk – who took time to whip votes in favor of Dhillon this week – shared that based on his conversations, the will of small-dollar donors was not going to be considered by RNC members while they cast their ballots.

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec shared that numerous individuals began deleting their accounts on WinRed, an online fundraising platform for Republican candidates launched during the 2020 campaign cycle.

  1. Good luck with this. Don’t bother sending me any more fundraising crap. Swamp rats of a different color are still swamp rats.

  2. Stuck with the same losers again. Why can’t we get rid of Mitch, Ronna, and all the Bush, Romney, and career DC nutria and get a party willing to drain the swamp and restore rule by the people, again? We had a real chance for majorities in both houses, but campaign funds did not reach new conservative candidates. Now, we are stuck in a weak position with Rino leadership happy to whine and go along with the communist opposition. We need to primary them and get some non-career politicians with backbones.

  3. Ronna McDaniel, Mitt Romney’s niece, has had her salary doubled in the six-years of ruining the Republican Party, averaging $400,OOO per year. Lost the Presidency, the Senate and barely won the House after losing it initially.
Do not contribute via WinRed or via credit card if at all possible. Instead, send a check directly to the CANDIDATE’s campaign. That way, only he/she will get it! RNC PAC diverts your money to Ronna McDaniel who then pays herself and staff before any money goes to candidates of HER choosing. As to the operations, she plans to do the same ole same ole. She’ll get the same results!
The “Big Dollar” donors will continue to control her and the Party!

  4. The stupidity still reins the Republican party. She is useless to the American people. She did nothing for the elections. Didn’t back Republicans who were for America. Way to go rinos, didn’t think we had that many traitors in the Republican party.

  5. NRC: snatching defeat from the jaws of victory since 2008. close your wallets people–they’re not interested in representing you–you shouldn’t give a flying fig about financing them.

  6. The RNC is too full of itself and I’ve felt that way for over a year. My $$ only goes directly to a candidate or cause – I will NEVER donate to the RNC again !!! In fact I hope & pray when Trump runs he starts a new party.
