President-elect Donald Trump has doubled down on his plan to carry out mass deportations of illegal immigrants once he assumes office, insisting that no price tag would stop him from following through on what he has promised to be the “largest deportation effort in American history.”
Speaking to NBC News on Thursday, Trump emphasized his commitment to strengthening the U.S. border and enforcing immigration laws. According to the president-elect, while he is not opposed to legal immigration, the focus of his administration will be on removing individuals who are in the country illegally, especially those involved in criminal activities.
Trump’s hardline immigration policy has long been central to his political platform, and many political analysts and commentators believe it played a huge role in his nomination in 2016 in a crowded field. Throughout his campaign, he repeatedly called for aggressive action to deal with what he described as a growing crisis of illegal immigration. His promise to carry out mass deportations aimed at removing millions of illegal aliens defined his campaign, and he has reiterated that commitment now that he is preparing to take office.
“There is no price tag,” Trump declared when asked about the financial feasibility of such a large-scale operation. “When people have killed and murdered, when drug lords have destroyed countries, and now they’re going to go back to those countries because they’re not staying here. There is no price tag.”
After four years of record high spending, Democrats have attempted to counter Trump’s deportation plans with disingenuous questions and projections about the burden they would create for taxpayers, but Trump insists cost considerations will take a backseat to the rule of law and safeguard American communities from criminal elements.
Former acting director of ICE Tom Homan explained that the operation would begin with targeted arrests, focusing on individuals who have been identified as criminal threats through investigative processes.
“It’s not gonna be – a mass sweep of neighborhoods. It’s not gonna be building concentration camps. I’ve read it all. It’s ridiculous,” Homan clarified. “They’ll be targeted arrests. We’ll know who we’re going to arrest, where we’re most likely to find them based on numerous, you know, investigative processes.”
The Biden-Harris administration championed open borders leading to a surge in illegal immigration the United States had never seen. In addition to crossings at the southern border, the administration flew in hundreds of thousands of migrants in coordination with the United Nations in covert operations that avoid the optics and public scrutiny of the border, dumping them in small towns and cities across the country, creating massive strains on public resources as well as threatening public safety and in many cases exacerbating the housing crisis.

A totally open border topped with secretly flying in criminal illegal aliens and dumping them in rural American cities is an abominable crime. LyinBiden and his crime syndicate should be held accountable and sent to prison until the end of days. That would be real justice.
