A famous rapper from the early 2000s has released a new version of his chart-topper “Because I Got High.”
Joseph Edgar Foreman, better known as “Afroman,” has released a remix of his hit song that pokes fun at Hunter Biden's privileged upbringing and lucrative business deals despite his reputation as a ne'er-do-well.
In the lyrics, Afroman attributes Biden's scandals to his drug habit. The reimaging is similar to the original rendition, where the rapper jokes about missing opportunities because he got high.
The music video begins with Afroman saying, “Hey Hunter! Roll another one of those congressional blunts, brother,” as an actor resembling the president's son lights up in the back row. (RELATED: Fear & Loathing In Delaware: Hunter Biden's Gun Pouch Contained Cocaine Residue)

The Grammy-nominated artist expressed his desire to perform at Trump rallies in the run-up to the election, according to a Newsweek interview:
Afroman said: “Some people are above the law while regular people have to obey it. When you lay the facts out about Hunter, it's just a little funny, so we wrote a parody song to have fun with life and politics.”
At the time of publishing, the video of the song, released by Baste Records, had racked up over 800,000 views on YouTube and had reached number three on the iTunes video chart.
“This one might take me to the stratosphere,” Afroman boasted. “I might be singing it at some Trump rallies.”
In a performance, Afroman is seen sitting between an actor portraying a masked President Biden and a casually dressed Hunter. The artist sings in his signature low bass, “He was going to get his laptop fixed, but Hunter got high/He should have let Hillary (Clinton) bleach the whole hard drive, but Hunter got high.”
Newsweek requested a comment from the White House, but it appears that they ignored it.
Afroman told Newsweek he isn't worried about potential legal action from Hunter, despite his reputation for being highly litigious. (RELATED: Hunter Biden To Sue Fox News For Unflattering Coverage)
“He may be bigger than my song, but if he does sue, as long as he doesn't take all the money, he can have some, because he inspired the song.”
