Hunter Biden is threatening to sue Fox News Channel, alleging defamatory coverage by the conservative news network.
According to a detailed, 14-page demand letter from Biden’s lawyers to Fox News executives, the lawsuit is imminent if they do not take immediate steps to rectify their coverage of the president’s son.

The letter contains hundreds of articles and broadcast segments that reference since-discredited bribery allegations by an indicted FBI informant, as well as Hunter’s “intimate” images from his laptop, which his legal team claims violate “revenge porn” laws.
The lawyers also demand that Fox News remove its six-part special, “The Trial of Hunter Biden,” which focused on his highly controversial foreign business dealings.

Still, ABC News reports that it may be too late for Fox to appease Hunter:
The letter, which Hunter Biden’s counsel transmitted to attorneys at Fox News last week, includes a request for the conservative news outlet to “preserve all documents potentially relevant to the allegations in this letter” — a common precursor to litigation.
“We anticipate that litigation against FOX … is imminent,” the letter says.
To pen the letter to Fox, Hunter Biden enlisted the law firm Geragos & Geragos, whose principal, Mark Geragos, has represented A-listers like Michael Jackson, singer Chris Brown, and actress Winona Ryder.
Geragos also has experience representing family members of presidents: He negotiated a plea deal in 2001 for Roger Clinton Jr., the brother of former President Bill Clinton, for driving under the influence.
Hunter’s aggressive strategy has created friction with some of his father’s advisers, who want him to lay low amid a grueling presidential campaign. However, Hunter has continued to receive his father’s support, overruling their concerns.
Hunter is set to stand trial for felony gun charges in Delaware in June and for federal tax charges in California later that month.
He could be sentenced to a considerable amount of time if found guilty.
