Fox News Reveals Powerhouse Primetime Lineup

-

Channel (FNC) has chosen its permanent replacement for 's old time slot: Jesse Watters.

The primetime shuffle comes amid a period of turmoil for the cable news behemoth, as The Journal reports:

will be the new host of Fox News's 8 p.m. hour, succeeding ousted star anchor Tucker Carlson, one of several prime-time changes the network announced on Monday.

Laura Ingraham will shift earlier in the evening to the 7 p.m. hour, while late-night host Greg Gutfeld will move up an hour to 10 p.m., Fox News said.

The departure of Carlson, who rose to become the network's highest-rated prime-time host, led to ratings pressure. After he left, a rotating set of hosts handled the 8 p.m. slot, averaging around half of his three-million-plus audience.

Watters's show “Jesse Watters Primetime,” which has aired at 7 p.m., has garnered an average of about 2.6 million viewers since the beginning of the year, the network said.

  1. Won’t make any difference. As long as Fox keeps a muzzle over their hosts’ freedom of speech to discuss rampant corruption including criminal-level election interference and obscenely one-sided justice throughout the federal government and many state governments, former viewers will remain permanently tuned out.

  2. I don’t care who fox puts on there.i won’t see it.i have removed ch.2(fox)from every TV in my house.i hope it dies a fast painful death.

  3. I fear Fox News has now demonstrated that it has become Pravda 1.0 of the New Soviet Banana Republic.
