TBS has cut ties with far-left comedian and political commentator Samantha Bee. Since 2016, Bee has hosted “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” on the cable channel. Stylistically, the show closely resembled “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” where Bee rose to prominence as its longest-serving correspondent.
Bee’s show received critical acclaim, but the host courted controversy on multiple occasions — most notably when she insulted Ivanka Trump with an extraordinarily vulgar phrase.
The obscene remark prompted then-White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to demand action from the network.
“Her disgusting comments and show are not fit for broadcast, and executives at Time Warner and TBS must demonstrate that such explicit profanity about female members of this administration will not be condoned on its network,” Sanders told The Wrap.

Bee acknowledged the news on social media, writing: “We’re so thankful for our loyal audience, our amazing team, and that we got to annoy the right people every week — that there wasn’t wrestling or baseball or a very special episode of Big Bang.”
“To our loyal fans — we love you, you’re very special,” she added. “Go home, and go home in peace.”
Variety reported that the show’s cancelation is the latest cutback for late-night shows after WarnerMedia canceled Conan O’Brien’s “Conan” last year and Comedy Central trimmed its late-night lineup from three shows down to one.
The cancelation is TBS’ latest pullback from its recent foray into original programming. A TBS spokesperson described the decision as “difficult,” “business-based” and part of the network’s “new programming strategy.”
Despite the positive reviews from critics, Bee’s show routinely had one of the smallest audiences in all of late-night television.

Right, she’s a conservative hater and a man hater. That leaves 25% of the population. Remove kids and anyone over 50 and your down to a target audience of 10-12%??

I think I have heard her name somewhere but I had no idea who she is, or what she did for a living. I’m sure she will be missed by her apparently tiny audience.

I don’t and wasn’t a fan. I saw her commercials and heard her unprincipled language. I knew it was nothing but trash. I’m glad TV is cleaning up its trash and garbage we have had to put up with. Now if “The View” with its hens will get rid of the chicken pen, it will make room for something better.
