James O’Keefe is at it again, thanks to a Twitter employee determined to spread the word about the company’s private reaction to Elon Musk’s acquisition.
Twitter’s board accepted Musk’s buyout Monday during a marathon meeting after he announced commitments to finance the deal.
Though arguably the world’s richest man (Vladimir Putin may hold that distinction), much of Musk’s wealth is invested in Telsa stock, forcing him to borrow billions against his holdings.
Twitter stock closed Monday up 5.64%, buoyed by Musk’s offer well above Twitter’s share price and self-proclaimed commitment to free speech.
However, the reaction within Twitter was markedly different, with current CEO Parag Agrawal answering questions from angry and fearful employees.

In a company-wide call that lasted around 45 minutes, Twitter employees questioned board member, Bret Taylor, and CEO, Parag Agrawal, about the company’s direction and Musk’s motives for buying the social media platform.
Taylor kicked off the meeting recognizing that many on the staff were shocked by how quickly the Twitter-Musk negotiations unfolded.
“I also just want to acknowledge all the emotions of today. It is an emotional day. I want to acknowledge it,” Taylor said. “By law, we are required to act in the best interest of our shareholders,” he said while justifying the company’s sale.

The Twitter CEO attempted to quell fears of Musk’s takeover, going so far as to say that the company’s current “content moderation” policies are “fundamental to keeping Twitter safe and growing.”
At one point, Agrawal told those listening “We’ll be finding a way to have Elon talk with all of you at the soonest possible opportunity…As you’ve heard from all of us, we don’t have all the answers.”

The first this Musk should do is fire EVERYBODY! Then rebuild with conservative employees. Put the shoe on the other foot for a change.
I think Agrawal is wrong and it sounds like probably most of Twitter’s employees don’t consider what they do as wrong. But if they insist that their Marxist, socialist, globalist, world view is the view of the American people, they are wrong. Agrawal is wrong again when he says that the continuation of their “moderation” policies will keep Twitter, “safe?” and growing? Does he really expect after the performance that socialist/communist governments and our wannabe commies here in America have put on, there will be more leftists to join Twitter? Importantly, they don’t have a clue about how wrong they are. Mostly I would say that they think, “safe” means safe from the truth.
