Former Daily Wire host and controversial influencer Candace Owens is facing a tidal wave of backlash for posting video widely considered to be antisemitic over the weekend. Her comments about Zionism and Israel have sparked a firestorm of criticism, especially from within the political right.

Owens’ conspiracy-laden remarks included the outrageous claim that modern-day Israel is a safe haven for pedophiles. This statement, among others, has been heavily criticized.

Mediate further reports:

During a live broadcast on Sunday, titled The Truth About Zionism, Owens implied that Jews were responsible for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and perpetuated other conspiracy theories and warned that criticizing Israel could result in being killed.

In the video, which has rapidly spread across conservative media social media, Owens asked: “Do you think it’s normal that basically, every person that speaks about Israel has to say a statement that ‘you know I don’t want to get killed’?”

She continued: “They shot JFK in an open car, he was a sitting president, so my security doesn’t matter, if they want me they’re gonna get me.”

Owens insisted that such thoughts are not “normal” and are uniquely tied to Israel, which she claimed has “taken over” the United States.

Fox News’ Sarah Carter did not mince words in a lengthy response: “Sadly, something seems to have gone wrong with Candace, so that she is now engaging in and spreading the most vile & vicious Jew-hating conspiracy theories, some of them dating back to the depths of ignorance from the Middle Ages!”

Conservative journalist Christopher Rufo had a slightly different take on what prompted Owens’ public embrace of extreme conspiracy theories.

Tensions between Owens and her former employer, The Daily Wire, had been escalating for months before her dismissal, particularly concerning her views on the Israel-Hamas conflict. The disagreements came to a head in March when Owens was let go due to irreconcilable differences with her colleagues, including co-founder Ben Shapiro.

I may have the wrong person, but the Candice Owens I am thinking of was a straight thinking, honorable, and in no way what she now seems to be, a Hamas supporter.. Is the Candice in this article the person who recently disconnected with Trump, sort of threw him under the bus? If so, then this article would explain it, and clearly something did happen to her months back. It should sound an alarm bell, it’s a call for help.
