Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers trended on Twitter recently — but not for reasons you might think.
Instead of acknowledging the Packers' win Sunday, which earned them the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC, Rodger's appearance on “Monday Night Football,” triggered Twitters' blue checks. They couldn't hide their disgust when the future Hall of Famer bragged about having a copy of Ayn Rand's “Atlas Shrugged” in his home.

Rand's most famous novel is a warning about the pitfalls of centrally planned economies and government coercion in general, something she, an eyewitness to the Russian Revolution, could speak about at length.
Fortunately, Rand isn't around to see liberals lose their ever-lovin' minds over someone else's literary preferences. (RELATED: Joe Rogan Responds to Recent Twitter Purge in True Libertarian Fashion)

Atlas Shrugged is a piece of literature that has been widely read for decades, but its extremist political message is very troubling to most people. It shouldn't be troubling that Rogers has read it or has a copy of it. It is troubling that he apparently agrees with its message.
