Trump Accuses Fox News Of Fudging Polls To Boost Haley

-

With less than a week until the caucuses, former president – and current presidential front-runner – Donald Trump is sparring with yet again.

This time, the former president criticized host for his supposed preferential treatment for his primary rival: .

Bolstered by Wall Street donors and the influential Koch network, Haley is challenging Gov. Ron DeSantis for a distant second place nationally in the GOP primary. However, some show her within striking distance of Trump in .

The latest by CNN/University of New Hampshire shows Haley 7 percentage points behind Trump in the Granite State, a 12 point improvement since November.

When Cavuto mentioned CNN's numbers on Tuesday's edition of “Your World,” Trump unloaded on :

“Why is FoxNews using a Fake News CNN Poll to build up Nikki Haley in New Hampshire? When they accidentally put up the respected USA TODAY/SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY POLL, 46% to 26%, UP 20 Points, Neil Cavuto went ‘crazy,' and demanded that the CNN Poll be put up instead. I have 5 great N.H. Polls, where I'm leading by 20 plus, and then the CNN Poll, where I'm up 7. Naturally, Fox goes with CNN, were Democrats and Independents are allowed to vote, and are totally over sampled in the Poll. Fox just doesn't get it, as is reflected in their ratings. SAD!”

BizPac Review's Chris Donaldson continues:

Trump seemed to be referring to Cavuto's bristling when the USA Today/Suffolk University poll that shows him clobbering Haley was put on screen instead of the one being flogged by outlets.

“I haven't looked into the details of this CNN poll that has the New Hampshire race really tightening up and the two of them, that is Donald Trump and Nikki Haley separated by only a few points,” he said as the less favorable poll for the media darling was displayed on the big screen.

“I don't believe that this is the one though guys,” Cavuto complained. “I think the CNN poll is the one I wanted to show.”

Interestingly, Cavuto also dropped a peculiar hint that one-issue candidate could pull a Pete Buttigieg and drop out of the race before New Hampshire voters go to the polls.

Such speculation is quickly turning into reality.

On Wednesday afternoon, political journalist Mark Halperin broke the news that, according to multiple sources, Christie plans to end his campaign soon.
