Trump Explodes After Comments by Fox News Hosts, Executives Go Public

-

Former President Donald Trump is erupting after the latest filing in the Dominion Voting System lawsuit against went public.

Under oath, Fox Corporation founder said that several Fox News hosts, including Maria Bartiromo, and , “endorsed at times this false notion of a stolen election” by Trump. (RELATED: Fox News Trashed Trump's Election Fraud Claims: Court Documents)

Trump weighed in this morning on social :

Why is Rupert Murdoch throwing his anchors under the table, which also happens to be killing his case and infuriating his viewers, who will again be leaving in droves – they already are. There is MASSIVE evidence of voter fraud & irregularities in the . Just look at the documentary “2000 MULES” and you will see large scale ballot stuffing caught on cameras, or votes cast without Legislatures approval, or just recently, the FBI/Twitter Files Scandal. RIGGED!!!

There was so much Voter Fraud & Irregularities in the 2020 Presidential Election that it amazes me how weak and ineffective FoxNews is at portraying itself in the lawsuit against them. They look too scared and frightened to reveal the massive amounts of voter fraud & Irregularities already found, and it would actually help them in the lawsuit. Instead FoxNews wants to silence its anchors and reporters, the reason so many of their viewers fled. The Election was that of a Third World Country!

When asked whether he could have intervened to stop Fox's prime-time hosts from giving Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, airtime, Murdoch added that he could have but didn't.

NPR has more on the fallout from Murdoch's deposition:

Fox Corp. argues that Dominion has produced no evidence showing that Rupert Murdoch; his son , Fox Corp.'s executive chairman; or other top corporate executives played a “direct role” in the decisions to air election-fraud claims. In their own filing Monday, Fox Corp.'s attorneys say the communications presented by Dominion that involve Fox executives are not directly related to the 115 allegedly defamatory statements at issue in the case.

“After obtaining millions of documents and taking dozens of depositions— including depositions of Fox Corporation's CEO, Fox Corporation's Chairman, Fox News's CEO, Fox News's President, and dozens of producers, on-air talent, and executives—Dominion has produced zero evidentiary support for its dubious theory,” Fox Corp.'s filing claims.

Even so, Fox Corp.'s chief legal officer, Viet Dinh, acknowledged under oath that executives in the corporation's chain of command have an obligation “to prevent and correct known falsehoods.” (Fox Corp.'s and Fox News' legal defense is handled by a team of outside lawyers led by Dan Webb, a highly regarded Chicago-based corporate litigator.) Some Fox News journalists debunked false election-fraud claims in reports. And star sharply questioned the basis for Trump's outspoken advocate Sidney Powell on his program. But Fox News never corrected the record on all the baseless allegations that unspooled on its airwaves.

On Nov. 8, Rupert Murdoch emailed Scott to say that Fox News was “[g]etting creamed” by . Under oath, he later said that he, Scott and Lachlan Murdoch held “a long talk” about “the direction Fox should take” that day in response to the falling ratings. They decided together to give play to Trump's baseless assertions. “[T]his was big news,” Murdoch said in his deposition. “The President of the United States was making wild claims, but that is news.”

A Fox Corp. and Fox News spokesperson responded by saying Dominion is cherry-picking quotes out of content to generate headlines. They added that the electronic voting company's “extreme” stance violates the First Amendment and threatens to keep journalists from doing their jobs.

  1. Why all the brouhaha after the fact? It was what it was, it is what it is, and We The People have a RIGHT to question the outcome of any election. The Democreeps have been doing so for decades, bitterly, shamelessly and with impunity. We are approaching Orwellian 1984 where good is evil, freedom is slavery, men are wimmen, etc. etc. etc. And elections will turn out as We The Party of Big Brother say they will.
